Any tips for DEN? Heading to the match this weekend, flying Delta. So I know I'll be on the closest terminal to security. I know there's a walkway directly to that terminal with its own security but Pre-Check is not always available there and CLEAR isn't there.

There is CLEAR there. It's on the right hand side by that huge line. Delta is just to the right when you get through security. bar nearby if you need to pass the time till your flight.

All I can recommend is that you take time to enjoy the entertaining array of conspiracy theories about the Denver airport.

LionNYC LionNYC going to assume you like fancy things.

I had my first reverse sear steak in Denver. It was fantastic. Guard and Grace is the restaurant. New York prices though on that place.

Check out the 17th street area for a stroll. Will take 1 hour tops.

Buy a pair of authentic cowboy boots.

If you like craft beers, there probably isn’t a city in this country with more options.

Boot barn. Get a hat with the boots too. Make sure they shape it for you. There’s also some killer buds.

Thank you for the recommendations. I will pass on the cowboy boots though.

Went to the away day two years back, nice small stadium for a game. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, around the immediate stadium. If you want to pregame, you'll have to either bring beers/food or go to a bar a decent distance away and catch a cab. I rented a car when I was there so me and few others brought beer and chips and hung out in the parking lot before the game.

If you have time I'd recommend going to Rocky Mountain National Park, although it is about a 2-2.5 hour drive one way outside Denver. I heard some fans also went to Boulder and enjoyed it, but I can't say firsthand.

Enjoy the trip!

Seattle/Portland both had the most craft beer options I've seen (Portland #1, Seattle #2). Denver is definitely up there though.

If you're driving 2.5 hours West in the Summer, go hit up some natural hot springs.

LionNYC LionNYC (or whoever moved the posts from the stadium thread to here). You left my Steven Wright post in that thread and it has no purpose if it's not in the same thread as adam adam's cowboy hat post.
That’s a thread-changing mod decision with zero communication to the affected party.... Lion should be suspended for multiple matches.

We can win this game. Colorado is improved to be sure, I've been looking at details of their games since they started getting results. IMO they have been more impressive away than at home, with a solid win at LAG (w/o Zlatan) and a draw at Portland. Their best Home results have been 1-0 wins against LAFC and Minnesota, but they created almost no solid chances in regular play. In those 2 games combined Colorado managed 1.05 xG combined. Both goals came off set pieces, which is what scares me the most. Their other wins were home to Cincy and Columbus, which count but doesn't say much about how they will play us.
If they get the lead they will park the bus. They might even do that at 0-0. We need to break that down, but if we're disciplined on counters and set piece defense I don't see them creating many scoring chances.

Also, this game will be low scoring: 0-0, 1-0, or 1-1 unless we score early and the Rapids have to open things up to chase the game.

Wait until any of the new guys or ones returning from injury start sucking the weak air.... gonna be a lot of hands on waists.
