    Our Best Back Line

Uncalled fouls are good plays to me ;) His positioning has markedly improved from last year. And when you combine his great stats in stopping attacks with the fact that Brillant is 1st in clearances in MLS, between the two of them, very little gets through to Saunders. Really the reason we've...

5th in MLS in interceptions. 29th in clearances. 1st in blocks. He's actually been phenomenal for us this year.

    Summer Transfer Window

Mix also comes off the book in the next year or two correct? And don't forget our DP contracts expiring at the end of this year (though we'll see about resignings).

My local plays a lot of European matches so that might actually work if I can convince them to turn it on!

    Our Best Back Line

Mena has come up huge, and ultimately with his size and talent I think he's Hernandez's replacement long term, though he's really shown his worth this year as well. It's great that we have the option of the more defensively sound Hernandez/Brillant/Mena/Allen line-up as well as the nicely...

I'll definitely try to do so. The only issue with meeting up to watch and stuff is that the only pub partner is 45 minutes away, so if that's where they gather it's a bit far. But I'll try and do more things with them!

I'll give them a better try. Are they very close knit? My experiences with TR so far have seemed like they aren't so.

True, but damn is there just nowhere to watch it at all.

Don't worry, the skin is thick ;) Just have to hold your ground hard when in Red territory hahaha.

Do you know if they'll be watching the match tonight anywhere? I know there's only one partner pub listed on the NYCFC site, not sure if that's where they meet or not!

They seem active enough on twitter, but I'm hoping for a bit more close knit of a group I suppose. I know there's quite a few people who aren't awfully fond of TR and it always did seem a bit loosely collected to me.

There are plenty of fans in NJ who never liked the Red Bulls and feel connected to NYCFC as their local team. Is that some kind of problem? I don't think a team should be alienating any fans, particularly season ticket holders who trek up to the stadium for every match.

    Our Best Back Line

It's not news to anyone that follows this team that we struggle mightily defending on set pieces. Be it free kicks or corners, we concede a good deal of goals on them. Particularly of note was the 7-0 thrashing in the first match against the Red Bulls, where four of their seven goals came from...

    New Jersey Supporters Group

Hey all! I see that there is a thread of supporters in New Jersey with 74 replies in it! Good to know that there are so many of us out here across the river. I don't think I've seen any existence of a supporter's group in New Jersey and I suppose I was wondering if there was any interest in...
