My post has magically reappeared.

Isn't this supposed to be a place of discussion? Embarrassing when a post is taken down for having an opposing view, not a good look for a new supporters (group) faction.

You don't have to be all of that to be a supporter in the supporters section. I don't understand how you want to be in the supporters group but don't want to sit with them/be your own section. You don't have to be crazy, drunk, or loud to be in the supporters group/section. That's not wht its...

I have no problems with the board, I'm just saying that I have not been able to attend a meeting and don't want to be seen as less of a supporter because of it.

I agree effort matters, but there are cases where other commitments come into play. At least in my case, I'm in college not in NYC so it's hard for me to make a lot of meetings and stuff. I don't think that should make me any less of a member. I'm also under 21 for a few more months so the bar...

I wouldn't label this as NYC Supporters Club on the website, that's the first problem. Also, there have been discussions (maybe you deleted them) about a forum scarf and t shirts. That's a SG move, not a forum site move. A lot of contradictory posts from the staff as well.

I will never support the Pink Cows, and I would never want a group of NYCFC supporters to go to a game to support them. The rivalry is real. Would you ever see die hard Nets fans going to a Knicks game to cheer them on? Jets to giants? Mets to Yankees? Islanders to Rangers? No. So why should we?

I'm not from the boroughs, but this is NYC team. 5 boroughs 1 city, so can't really go chanting for LI and Westchester and Jersey etc..

Since we're gonna be playing in Yankee Stadium, I'd imagine they'll just play it after the games. I think it would sound cool to sing before though.

I agree with CP. There is no bad press. The point of publicity is to get people talking about you. A new team needs to do what they can to get their name our there and known. A recent example of this is Miley Cyrus. Everything she is doing with the way she dresses and sings etc is always talked...
