I came on here to complain about this. I haven't been able to attend the first 3 matches, so I've listed my seats at face value and none of them sold. I thought it was the weather but then I checked for one of the matches and my seats weren't listed. I'm about to bitch to the club. It's wasted...

Much better than the awful seismic wave kit from last season, but this thing looks like a cheap t-shirt you buy at Target. Why can't they get this right? And I agree with the previous post about it looking like a practice jersey. Anyway, a step in the right direction.

Love this video. If only the folks who created that awful jersey had the same good taste and talent as the folks who made the video.

That's my guess. From a designers point of view, the only way this design happens is if NYCFC wanted it and forced Adidas to make it. Maybe this design didn't come from Adidas, but instead it was dictated to them by some talentless suit at NYCFC.

Similar process for graphic design (I'm a design director), and my team never EVER EVER presents a design idea to a client that we're not comfortable with them selecting. If we don't love the design, and can't live with it, we never show the client. That's why I can't see how this design made it...

The reveal video is really well done. Love that they let the players surprise the fans. What annoys me about the new jersey is that it could have been beautiful if it weren't for those damn rings. I get the idea of expressing the energy of the city, but the execution is just awful. It's hard...
