2017 Attendance Thread

I think this Sunday is going to be a good showing. So the weather may have played more of a factor in the first three home games than we thought. Judging from what's available on Ticketmaster and prices on StubHub, it looks like we should be well over 21-22k for this game.

I unfortunately will be out this Sunday as we await the birth of our second child. I was hoping he or she would come a little early and I could use Sunday as an excuse to bring my other one to the game. Alas, no such luck. So bring home a W for Team KJBert.

Awesome. A short term loss to raise attendance in the long run!

The Cosmos have been nonstop on ESPN lately.

They could run ads on ESPN SNY NY1 and frankly all the channels you could think of.... Fact is...... NYC wont give a shit... This is a Major League town and rinky dink soccer out of some trash heap in coney island wont make a difference... it will all come undone for them soon...... with that shit for brains owner whos more idiotc than seamus obrian could ever be plus erik stover... Mark my words... By July that loud mouth Guido of an owner they have will be scratching hishead like some tree monkey asking himself Why are so many people at the rides on that filthy beach and on the boardwalk yet MCU is empty as hell.... even that 30 x 30 aquarium has more people....

NYC is not fooled and nasl continues to be a hot mess....

The cosmos team is a fine little team to watch under their minior league circumstances and due to the good work of Giovanni savarese... but any small positive on the field will quickly be undone by the reality they find themselves in and the leadership that is a proven failure in erik stover least to say of their UNPRESENTABLE and unprofessional owner who gets in front of any mic and camera and pops off insults against the 2 Local MLS teams like some coked up 1980s Pro Wrestler cutting a promo for AWA Wrestle Rock 86

Those numbers have to be sobering to the Yankees. A big attendance dropoff despite a really strong start to the season, and the trend has been horrible since 2010.

Wow, didn't know it was that bad.

Maybe fans would be more interested if they didn't have to play every game in a soccer stadium.
Food is a big issue. Can't remember where I read the article last year, but the big trend in stadiums is providing healthy and bespoke options, at a reasonable price, for the spectators. Yankees/Legends ranks about last in quality and price. They may have remodeled the stands for outdoor bars, but they've done nothing to address the crappy options at exorbitant prices. They just. Don't. Understood. Or. Care.

You are preaching to the choir on this one. Yankee Stadium food is an abomination.
