2017 Relocation Thread

It's strange that they wouldn't lock the "buy now" option for the public to buy new seats when current STH are eligible to relocate in just a few days. New buyers should have to wait some period of time after current STH have their right to change seats.
you never turn away new money

Ever sat in row 17 there? Just want to be sure I can see the screen in center field.
I'm row 18 in 234, yeah you can see the screen. You're on an angle but you can see it. gotta be honest, I rarely look at it

I may have found a cheeky back door into what specific seats are currently available.

Go to http://www.nycfc.com/tickets/city-membership
Click the 'Buy Now' link
The Virtual Venue will launch
Click on the section you're interested in and you'll see the available seats

Thanks. According to this there are around 800 Delta tickets available. I'm moving to plan B. I'll buy a Delta ticket only for games I need them (weather) and sell my current ticket for those matches. No need for extra season tickets at the moment. Nice workaround!

I take the same approach for Delta. I managed 3 upgrades via Cityzen points last year & purchased direct from club once. Sold or gaveaway my regulars tix for those games. Remember when you upgrade via Cityzen you retain your original seats

Just a reminder, during the selection process the Virtual Venue has tons of glitches while using Chrome or Firefox. So when you go to log in and everything, make sure you use IE.

They may have fixed it by now, but I had the same problem during initial selection and again during relocation, so i'm assuming the problems still exist.

Thanks!

I wonder. That might have been the reason I got hosed in the initial purchase. I had front row tickets in my section and at checkout got kicked out of the system. When I got back in I had to settle for second row. Still great, but also kinda sucked to lose those front row tix.

I have so many meetings today...

got my call at 10:01 from Julie.

*edited* I decided to stay put in 234. I was only interested in moving to specific section, row & seat location and it wasn't available

No issues using IE11

Just finished. Moved up from row 8 to row 3 in section 136.

VV showed no seats available in the 4 sections I wanted. Rep on the phone saw seats available in all of those sections.

(Using Chrome.)

Interesting... I was going to ask that question a few minutes ago. Maybe they're holding stuff back for relocation.

I moved from 126 row 8 to 105 row 6 on the aisle. I mostly sit in 12 and got killed last year on resale, so I wanted something less expensive.

Any thoughts on 105? Was worried that the benches and pitchside seats would block the view, but Julie assured me it was not an obstructed view.

Anyone know how visible the scoreboard is from there?
