Teams who press us allow us the option to play out to Sweat. Sweat has a decent touch but there is no link up play whatsoever on the left side of our midfield.
Does this guy or has this guy played in a system where he has had to link up? Overlap? Play out of the back?
I remember the days of RJ Allen and Tommy McNamara banging balls off each other's kneecaps down the right side of the field and I want to move further away from those days.

My instant gut reaction based on next to zero information is that they could try to move him to CDM. I could see him playing there and LB depending on matchup.
TransferMrkt has him as a LB mostly with a sprinkle of CB and LM.
Yeah, but we have two left-backs and zero CDM in my opinion (Ofori is too regista-type and Dome is playing Ring as an 8).
I'd love to have a pacey, 6'1" high-motor tackling machine in our midfield 3.

The guy is playing Champions League soccer as a starting LB. Why fight that? Sweat provides cover as your 4th CB anyway.
