2018 Season Ticket Thread

I know Third Rail members get this perk, so you could always join for $30/year and have access to the $10 away tickets.
interesting... I only really went to the RB game and plan to go to the DC game later this year. So, idk how worth it it really is for future years.

Thanks for the advice, will look into it. Hope to see you guys at games- with cheaper tickets!

yeah but thats not the same perk. Spending 30 just to get $10 away tickets, you gotta account for the 30 as an expense. If you go to 5 games its $16 per game. If you go to 10, its $13..... but then I gotta wonder at that point, if you are going to so many away matches, you (read:hypothetical you) don't seem like a guy who cares about a slightly cheaper ticket on account of all the travel costs and such. so imho not the same perk, approached similar on volume, but never equal.
But remember you’re not “just” getting the $10 tickets. The you’d have to consider all the other “perks” that come with the membership and decide if they are worth the $30 to you.

I haven't read through the whole thread. I tried but it's too much for me.
My extra tickets are not selling for shit this year. I've had extra seats since the first season since I realized I could bring the fam to a couple big games and sell the rest of the seats and just about break even. This has been the case every season until now. Now, I've got tickets going unsold when they're listed at less than half my cost to begin with. I had expected sales to actually be better this year, since I thought most people used Stub hub to begin with.

So if I'm reading this thread right, it's not so much to do with the switch from TM to SH, but because the club itself is selling tickets for less than founding member prices? The fuck? Do I have to contact my ticket rep to request they only auto renew half my seats?

Impossible to know why exactly but the clubs fire sales can’t be helping. Either way, you’re paying more than you should.

I think we should all cancel our season tickets. think of it this way....

If the club loses all of its season ticket holders, they have no choice but to fold and we all become red bull fans. its a win win situation for all of us and we can resell our tickets for 800$ a piece

Come to think of it- nobody goes to RB games and they’re still around. How?

Speak of the devil, I just got emailed about "rate your city member experience" survey. If you got it as well, fill it out and let them know how quite very displeased we are!

Which means that a ton of season ticket holders aren’t showing up and can’t sell their tickets. Expect a cratering next year as season ticket holders give up. Read the season ticket thread, it’s coming.

I’m one of them and already cancelled for next year (turned auto-renew off).

So if you turn autorenew off, you don't need to do any sort of formal "i don't want to be a season ticket holder next season" thing, you can just straight-up turn it off and you're all good? (and where is this autorenew?)

Basically, yes. You need to log into your account on the Ticketmaster site. I don’t remember exactly where to go from there but if you fish around, you should find it easily enough.

by ticketmaster site you mean the accountmanager right? I looked around everywhere, but I'll check again :/
-edit-
you don't mean the "Opt Out" option under the NYCFC website itself, do you?

Yes, the account manager site. You may be able to do it on the NYCFC site also so that may also work. You’ll get a confirmation email.
