It's different groups and reset from last "season" or it's a continuation? I don't remember.

Well fuck, I was stuck on delayed trains at Jamaica and didn't see any of it and now lost Valeri and Mabiala. Damn. That's like 17m worth of points gone.

Pigeon Cup Round 4 is in the books

Congrats to dummyrundummyrun who beat SoupInNYC 148 -111 to become the first team to qualify for the knockout round.

In the other Group Nest match Anonymous Torrent beat Shwafta to move into 2nd place in the group.

In the closest match of the round Jonathan Lewis and Clark stayed alive with a narrow 151-146 win over Maximum Moralez. Your commissioner is in serious danger of getting knocked out in the group rounds even with the most points in the league during the 4 Cup weeks.

In the other group feather match Torrential Domenation beat Haak a Loogie 145-115 to become the group leader.

    Standings are

    Keaton Parks 12 pts 563TP [IMG]@dummyrun

    Anonymous Torrent 6 pts 545Total Points [IMG]@mgarbowski

    SoupInNYC 6pts 534TP [IMG]@SoupInNYC

    Torrential 9 pts 594TP [IMG]@JayH

Maximum Moralez 3 pts 598Total Points

Yes, every team in Group Feather has scored more points than every team in Group Nest. Who the hell is the idiot that came up with this format?

    Cup action resumes Wednesday.

Keaton Parks and Rec is matched up with Shwafta
Anonymous Torrent is matched up with Soup In NYC in a crucial matchup to see which team controls its own destiny to move on in the Pigeon Cup

Maximum Moralez can only stay alive with a win over Haak A Loogie
Reigning Cup champ Jonathan Lewis & Clark Expedition can only stay alive with a win over Torrential Domenation.

    Good Luck all.

Whelp, it was a good run! (no it wasn't...) I'm gonna have to start doing a dummy and keep my own score calculation methods for the future to dome-nate you all!

Maxi is a good option this week, not just for the roster but for captain even.
Except he also has 4 Yellows and could be suspended on Sunday.

    I hate this game.

    2019 Pigeon Cup Round 5

Two more teams advanced to the knockout round. Congrats to Torrential Domenation JayHJayH and Haak A Loogie FredMertzFredMertz for advancing from Group Feather.

Haak A Loogie beat Maximum Moralez 199-182 while the closest match of the round was Torrential Domenation beating defending Pigeon Cup champ Jonathan Lewis & Clark 158-147 to move on to the Semifinals with one round to spare.

In Group Nest Keaton Parks & Rec remained undefeated in Pigeon Cup play this year with a 192-151 win over Shwafta. In a critical matchup Anonymous Torrent defeated SoupInNYC to strengthen his hold on 2nd place 160-134.

    Standings are

    Keaton Parks 15 pts 755TP [IMG]@dummyrun

Anonymous Torrent 9 pts 705 Total Points [IMG]@mgarbowski

    SoupInNYC 6pts 668TP [IMG]@SoupInNYC

Final group round matchups this week are:

    Shwafta v Soup
    Keaton v Anonymous

    Maxi v Torrential
    Haak v. Jon Lewis

Will SoupInNYC be able to make up the deficit and move on to the semifinals?

Edit: Group Feather Standings are incorrect in this post. The standings after Round 5 were
    Haak 12 pts 785
    Torrential 12 pts 752
    Maxi 3 pts 780
    Jona 3 pts 712

    Sorry about the mixup

Is there a next level tiebreaker after Round Points and Game Points? Coin flip?

Almost happened last year. Semifinals are postponed for a one round tiebreaker between the 2 teams.

Lol at me and Chicago. I figured they're good for points at home against Cincinnati so I roster their keeper, a defender, and I captain Gaitan. So Cincy scores in the first minute and Gaitan misses a PK which is I think a 14 point swing with the captain doubling.

FredMertzFredMertz and I are matched up this week. We both have 65 points (which leads our league subject to today), with 6 players in common (so far) and the rest have evened out. We also both have 2 players left, I think one MID and one DEF each.
