Please only vote if you plan to play. Would you want to see 2 division pro-rel this year?

If anyone can think of anyone else to tag, go ahead.

I have a policy of playing hard to get. I usually don't respond unless im asked at least 3x.

But i'll make an exception this one time.

I didn't really want to. I feel swamped, but I know I will probably regret it 4 weeks in when I have more time. I guess i can play. But if you have an odd lineup I wouldn't mind dropping off to help even things? So pencil me if needed, does that work?

You should probably join then, and then Sabo Sabo can remove you if there's an odd amount instead of removing others?

Thanks. It would be easiest if you joined the league and then I kicked you out on Saturday if we are at an odd number.

Its a huge help not to have to worry about having an odd number.

What don't you like about it?
So, these complaints are as of the year before last, so, again, things may have changed, but:
[well, this first one won't have] 1. The MLS schedule is so fucked up that it's hard to maintain a sense of continuity, and the way the schedule is "balanced" by having a lot of gameweeks with only a few teams playing leads to the necessity of:
2. Being allowed unlimited transfers between every gameweek, which takes all the long-term thinking and strategizing out of the game
3. and the "rolling roster lockouts" thing, again, is just a sop to casuals who don't want to pay enough attention.

Uh... I dunno. Maybe there's more?
Basically I got into soccer fantasy by getting ultra-serious about Fantasy Premier League and I've always felt that Fantasy MLS isn't as much fun.

I basically stopped once they allowed you to roll the whole roster every week. The long term planning was the really interesting part for me.

Agree. I feel like the new approach caters the the DFS community. I liked the old way so much better.

I've raised these issues in conversation with the people who make the game and it's gone nowhere. Like, they asked for feedback, we said commonsense stuff like "Make all the gameweeks start on Friday to make it easier to keep track," and ... nothing. It's like they designed the game for three dozen power users and forgot everyone else.

Its a totally different game now than when you only got 2-3 transfers/week and were always looking ahead at the calendar 6-10 weeks before picking anybody. There were plenty of problems with those games too (like the year you could only win if you made all your transfers on Monday).

Its very much a cellphone game now with the rolling transfers. The switcheroos are an interesting wrinkle. If the pricing isn't completely out of whack I think this game works.

I just don't see how a game design that requires you to remember to check your phone within the 45-minute lineup-to-kickoff window five or six times a weekend is ever going to succeed with casual players.

Is Mr. Draftkicks part of this forum? If not, how does he end up in the league every year. I would prefer he not be -- the dude is literally a pro and it would be nice for someone who is active on the boards to be able to win.

Pretty sure he joins a ton of leagues. He might follow my twitter account so he likely saw it there. Don’t believe we’re doing prizes this year and if we decide to down the line we won’t include him for that very reason.
