2019 Season Ticket Thread

My tickets technically went up in category 5 even though the chart says it didn’t. My invoice says each ticket for 2019 is $493, which is up from $476 in 2018. However the monthly costs for 2018 is higher per month? Was 2018 per 11 months and not 12 or something? Like, I’m not gonna base my decision on a $17 hike for the season but just seems shady.
That sounds way off. You were Cat 5, what are you now Endline Mezzanine?

Note that with the variable pricing, you can't directly trade from a lower-tier game to a higher-tier game. You'll have to pay the difference!

Thanks NYCFC!

Also, FWIW, there is no net shown on the seating diagram vs. the thick black line I've seen on some of the more recent seating charts.

So after looking at it, even though the technical price per month went down, I'm still paying $605 at the end. What? (I payed $605 last season, too.)

The fact that they're lowering ticket prices is a bad sign that we're not going to get any stadium news any time soon.
What's your logic here? I don't follow.

This all-but confirmed I won't be renewing. College student w/ other things to worry about, and there's no Student pricing, and it's just not worth it, no change to perks and arguably a bit worse. Maybe I'll re-become a member in future years if things change, but for now I don't see the benefit. Still gonna go to games, of course., and probably for hella cheaper.

Man, that email was a little sappy (marriage proposals and blossoming friendships?!?), but I do appreciate the pineapple reference and the confirmation of no increase.

My email came about 30 minutes ago, and among other things it says I "also now now have the option of adding Legends access to [my] membership."
I'm more than 99 and 44/100% certain this will cost way more than I think it is worth, but I'm curious to see what that cost is, but I can't find it anywhere. This might an offer just for Delta Suite members, but did anyone else get it and if so, can you find the details?

Oh, and my prices are down 6.25% after not increasing in 2018 over 2017 so, I'm reasonably happy.
Guessing upgrading from Delta to Legends just means you’re paying for your food in advance while needing to fast for 72hrs beforehand to get your value from it.

As I overheard Keith Olbermann at a Yankees game said to his guest that night, "The goal is to eat back the price of the ticket in food!"

If a stadium announcement was imminent, do you think they'd drop prices across the board?
Hard to say, but maybe they’re realizing they’ve used up all the good will STH lent them and are in serious damage control now. Remember, they want to lock in as many STH as possible now *regardless* of whether an announcement is coming. These 12 month plans afford them monthly operating revenue and they need it between now and the hypothetical announcement, otherwise they have to tap CFG on the shoulder and beg for an advance in their allowance. Because if they don’t lower prices and end up watching a percentage of STH say adios, they then get won’t have another opportunity to lock in STH in bulk for a year and a stadium announcement will never move the short-term (1-12month) ticket sales.

I already cancelled before this i received the email asking me to renew. Clearly, I made the right decision. I’ll attend nearly as many games next year and spend less than I do now per match.

If it's happening after the renewal deadline, yes.

I think they're correctly expecting a renewal apocalypse and it's easier to keep a customer than get them back.

If you drop now and they above a stadium for the '21 season in December, I think you likely take at least a season off.

The opt-out form has hover-text for each reason you might choose for canceling. Not sure "meaningful dialogue to understand what may be feasible" is going to pull anybody back from the abyss.
I think the fact that they are including text in here about you potentially losing your status spot is a bit telling that they are getting closer to an announcement.

I don't see how them keeping prices the same or dropping can be any bad news towards that.

I got that offer as well, but haven't looked into it yet. I'm a founding member, but have had SS tickets every year. My SS ticket prices are staying the same.
