Ugh, I'm struggling today with whether or not to opt out of season tickets for 2020. There are just so many weekday games I can't go to, and nobody buys the tickets, and even going to weekend games has become, shall we say, "politically difficult" within my family.
I'm a Westchester guy and this is still an hour away on a Monday night. They are so clueless!
No way I'm driving all the way to Peekskill on a Monday night if it's not to visit Blair Warner and Jo Polniaczek at Eastland.
I think we have to accept that this whole event is marketing directed at people who live in the Hudson Valley, not people in the city.

derek_villa tweets out additional context regarding the weeknight/weekend game split for NYCFC, and Fishkin comes right back and basically says to not make it a red vs blue contest.sigh.. frustration.
why do city tokens have an expiration date? i don't understand why we can't carry it over. even worse, seat upgrades are shown as "sold out" when they're actually still available. I was given 3 choices last time i upgraded to Legends and I can tell you, the section I sat in was about 90% empty that night. what the hell.

I'll be honest. I have no idea how these City Tokens work. I don't need to upgrade my tickets. So, what do I do them with?
Buy additional tickets in 3 minute fractions. But hurry, you only have until the 18th.
apparently they are only good for upgrading seats (which you don't need) or buying additional tickets to games. can't be used for other things, which is completely stupid we should be abel to use it toward merch at the very least. but not being able to carry over year to year is really annoying. i get it if they want to make you forfeit your tokens if you cancel your membership, but not being able to carry it over to a following season, that's just another slap in the face. luckily i don't have a ton of tokens left, but it's still frustrating to leave money on the table...

So 2 updates about this...
1. I ordered the quarter zip.
2. The Club emailed everyone earlier in the week that ordered saying all the items were actually free as a thank you to season ticket holders. When I picked it up after the game last night, it turned out actually grey and not navy blue. Okay. It's quite a thin piece of material. Oh. I wouldn't have paid $65 for the item if I knew what I was getting.
