2019 Season Ticket Thread

They raised my tickets 3% on the founders price from $44 p/match to $45.18 p/match.

Sec 103

If I want to move to SS it's $21.18 p/match

So notes on the premium sections...
- No increase in the best Etihad First Class Club seats year over year.
- ~$250 monthly decline in other Etihad First Class Club seats. (This is big, and likely a push to get people to move from Legends to Pitchside is they can afford it, I've seen reps bring people down to Pitchside at halftime to see the sightlines. They are likely trying to get these people to sign up for pricier seats).
- Bifurcated Legend Seats with cuts of either $20 or $50 in monthly payments
- Champions Suite is down $16 per month
- Delta Club is down $9 per month

I'm seeing mostly cuts in prices across sections in the entire stadium which is a worrying sign regarding stable season ticket membership while at Yankee Stadium

And I find it so funny regarding the tagline for renewal...all threads lead to the Stadium Thread.

Ha! If I’m reading this correctly, my section went down in price due to the redistribution of sections. Score!!!

We all figured that season ticket membership has been on the decline. The lack of stadium progress is likely part of it, but the lack of benefits versus just getting cheap tickets on the secondary market is likely the biggest reason.

This shocked me. Are the visiting side Pitchside seats not sold out?

You sure? It looks to me they're basically holding steady, with the monthly price going from $64.42 to $64 even?

I worked of my assumed price of $44 per ticket when I did my math. I guess I was paying slightly more and rounding down all season.... Looks like we dropped slightly.

The fact that they're lowering ticket prices is a bad sign that we're not going to get any stadium news any time soon.
That's possible, but also just as likely that they realize the secondary market has rendered season tickets as being at the very least, not a good deal.

Nope, they need to fix the Stubhub issue ASAP!

The StubHub thing doesn't bother me as much as most people probably. I'm just sick of the lack of transparency from the organization. Players get injured and we don't get any info about it. Compare that to other sports and it's ridiculous. Stadium stuff? Nothing since April and even then it was Patricof telling us that the Harlem River Yards site was not active. Concessions? Parking? Still expensive. I'm seriously debating canceling for next season.

And I don't really care too much about transparency. I just don't like be forced to lose $ on games I can't make and paying more than non-season ticket holders. Especially when it's an easy fix by letting us download and sell our tickets anywhere, which really should be our right and is done everywhere else. Why are they fucking with us like this?

hmmm, now I have to think. They actually dropped my section by 2.25/month, and they revamped the ticket trade-in to a much better deal which I might be able to utilize. No blackout date, and you can trade in those extra t ickets for an upgraded seat... Might be work it? I'll have to look into it more. Good thing we have a month.
ETA- Ticket trade-in actually is worse this year, nvm.

Mine stayed the same...maybe I'll get another scarf.

My tickets technically went up in category 5 even though the chart says it didn’t. My invoice says each ticket for 2019 is $493, which is up from $476 in 2018. However the monthly costs for 2018 is higher per month? Was 2018 per 11 months and not 12 or something? Like, I’m not gonna base my decision on a $17 hike for the season but just seems shady.

My email came about 30 minutes ago, and among other things it says I "also now now have the option of adding Legends access to [my] membership."
I'm more than 99 and 44/100% certain this will cost way more than I think it is worth, but I'm curious to see what that cost is, but I can't find it anywhere. This might an offer just for Delta Suite members, but did anyone else get it and if so, can you find the details?

Oh, and my prices are down 6.25% after not increasing in 2018 over 2017 so, I'm reasonably happy.
