2019 Season Ticket Thread

thanks! 153rd is expensive, but the ramp for 87 is right there - $30 cash sounds real good, though
If you get off of the Deegan at the same exit as Ruppert, instead of going 'left' into Ruppert, they wave you to the 'right', that's the lot. It's outdoors, but who really cares?

Closing 164th also bad.

Only added 15 minutes to my 25-minute drive. Not looking forward to the ride home.
Ride home not too bad -- just 10 minutes added getting to 87 vs getting right on out of the old garage.

Does anybody have any tips or ideas about getting wrinkles and creases out of the flag STH’s got? The material is so light

For those of you that care ( LionNYC LionNYC mgarbowski mgarbowski JayH et al), it is my understanding that there will be a parking validating machine at the Champions check-in desk (by the entry to Sec 113).
Was that validation machine in place? It might sometimes be better for me than the one by the entrance to Legends.

I note that the River Avenue garage has 3 exit portals and the machine on one of them broke after the game. They fixed it in a little more than 5 minutes but it really slowed things down. I was lucky in that I was directed to park about 10-20 yards from the exit so I did not have to deal with a long line to leave. Overall, I'd say this garage cost me 25-30 minutes round trip. Even though I now know which streets are closed and how to approach, I don't think it will save me much time. I have to circle so far out of the way to get there.

I'm still annoyed they gave no guidance how to navigate the maze of closed streets they made us go through. I emailed my rep yesterday. Told her that if she can't get me useful information when needed I don't want telephone apologies after-the-fact. If she calls I might just hang up.

I'm also not happy with my new seats so I'm just in a bad mood. I should have known that 2 open seats that seemed too good must have had a flaw, and they do. My front row aisle seat has to look through a glass barrier. Would have been nice if the rep on the phone when I picked them told my why they were available. They have to know.

The designated garage for STH Prepaid or Premium Seat Parking Passes has been changed to 161st Street. I believe they got a fair amount of complaints. My rep called and emailed me a combined 4 times this week on the topic.

They said it was only for the LAFC match. Who knows what's happening for the next match.

!!!!!!!!!!
I just got an email about a college student pass: 165 for as many games as you want to attend. However, tickets are non-transferrable and cannot be sold, and it doesn't count as a season ticket. (Of course, you can give to friends with a simple screenshot)

But it is $165 for all remaining home games, in the supporter section.
That equates to:
165 / 15 remaining games = $11/game.
They halved the price of tickets for this offer. That's actually quite amazing!
Even for me, where I can only attend 8 more games, that's still 165/8 = $20 which is cheaper than usual.

This is a really smart move by the FO, and I've been asking them to do this since I started attending games in 2016, since so many students aren't able to buy ST or attend because of the prices. If they would do a season ticket packages as well, that would be great. (Though it wouldn't matter for me since I won't be a student anymore after June)

The issue I see with this is that the Supporters section is potentially going to be over-sold, and with no assigned seats, there could be more demand than availability on game days resulting in some ticked-off ticket holders. Granted, lately I’ve been seeing transients from the Supporters Section taking empty seats around me, which is kinda BS, and I would expect more of that to happen with an oversold area of bleachers.

I couldn’t find where it says where the seats are.

eh depends, 235 for example is not even full, only issue i see is vs red bulls or playoffs. with all the midweek home games i dont see it as much of an issue.

Anyone ever park at 651 River Avenue, MPG Parking? If you have, what’s your opinion of getting on/off I-87 on game day?
