2019 Season Ticket Thread

Whoa..

Is this for everyone? Or just if you've already renewed for next year?

I clicked on accepting the new terms. But haven’t given them a penny for 2020 yet. Besides all the credit for my overcharge...

no one else got this yet? Maybe they are taking the piss because they read the forums and saw how outspoken i was about both the cards and pins?

First time poster, long time lurker.

Don't you guys realize that we are doing the job of the front office for them? We are giving them new members for them to call and try and sell season tickets / packages. We are giving them a referral for without getting anything in return...

Welcome to the forum and the chaos! :)
I'm a proponent that thinks this is still good regardless. I don't understand the need for something in return. They're not asking you to actively go out and hunt people to give tickets to, but more like if you're casually talking to someone you can give it out. Increasing awareness, and increasing (hopefully) attendance. It might not work, and will just end up bumping up figures without actually bringing bodies to seats, but I still think it's a good idea.

You wouldn't feel positive about introducing a new fan to the club?

Yup. And it’s why a lot of us are pissed about it.

other than potentially a fuller stadium, a better atmosphere, new supporters, sharing something you enjoy with others, an opportunity to pass along free tickets? That is some anything.

They are making it seem like it is an "added benefit" for being a season ticket holder. This is not an added benefit. An added benefit would be if they upgraded my 2 seats to 4 for the season for the same price.

We are just helping them get new potential customers. Which is fine, but why am I paying for the honor to give away tickets? I already have issues giving away my tickets to a mid week game... There are tons of programs / charity offers that they can work with to get these new customers.

They already released this program this season, it was the free ticket offers for select mid week games. Did the stadium looked more filled on games that they offered this deal?

I’ve already canceled next years season ticket. Spoken to my rep on the phone, etc. And I got two blue cards and one pin today in the mail.
If this isn't due to an error, this would rule out the idea that our ST price increases are paying for these Blue Cards.

Big if though lol

Oh, that’s the first thing I mentioned and was pissed about. They've failed so miserably at marketing that they’re now throwing up a Hail Mary for the STH’s to complete. And the continued kick in the face is it’ll take away potential buyers on the secondary market, not that there’s much of one to begin with.

The cards are BIG. Well, bigger than anything that fits in my wallet and wider than my phone or phone case. Is this the size of regulation yellow and red cards? Needs to be the size of a credit card for me to carry them regularly.

Yeah, that’s a real problem! Whoever made the call on the design wasn’t thinking clearly.

I guess these blue cards are like red cards and should be kept in the back pocket. I guess these fit in women's purses though.

What is the difference between the "Blue Card" vs Founding member offers we got for the 6.29 and 7.26 games?

So I already got someone to take one of my Blue Cards and he told me how they work - essentially, they select which game in September they'd like to attend (all 4 home games were listed), then you enter the code and it tells you the section you're in - didn't give the row or seat number yet, though
So what was the section?
