I've been thinking about this. (Probably a mistake, but still…) I did the 2020 monthly payment plan, and I think there were only three payments left. So if I roll that over for next season the term payment options aren't very attractive compared to paying it all off at once. I understand why they're offering the smaller payment options but I feel that would make a lot more sense if it were December and we'd still have 10 or 11 payments in front of us. Did I miss something? Doesn't seem like there's any point to the quarterly plan vs yearly plan with only three payments left to make.
Choose the single payment plan.
There’s no downside.
Get the most benefits.
Stop thinking about it.

Well yes, that's what I've done. Couldn't help the thinking part of it though. mostly along the lines of," what could they possibly have been thinking when coming up with these options?" Thanks for the reality check though!

Yeah, if you're a founding member, just do the pay in full if you can. It's actually a good incentive they came up with - I'm surprised they kinda came through.

I'd paid in full already for 2020, so just rolled it over to next season. Plus:
- >$300 in "tokens" for upgrades, etc.
- $100 merchandise credit
- $100 food & beverage credit (my rep confirmed again it can be used for alcohol)
- Day at CFA

damn, that's pretty good. seems worth it for the food credit alone!

im so out of touch with whats going on STH-wise...... i just took the third option and sent the form back. What did i sign up for? I think i am fully paid up. I usually do installments then pay when i sell a ticket or so i can do the ticket exchange thing so i am pretty sure im paid in full at the moment.

are we getting any games in 2020? I sold the RB and DC games on stubhub... what exactly is happening with those games, are they reschedules such that the people i send delivery of the tickets will get new tix for a new date or are they completely scrubbed? Stubhub hasn't said boo about either, if i was those buyers id have complained by now.

id suggest to email rep to confirm. Technically any payments made will be for the 2021 season. IF fans are allowed in YS this year ( or anywhere) for home games then we pay for them separately ( not part of the ST package). i think if you a STH you would get those at some discount.

as for stubhub, thats a question for them because the original schedule is pretty much dead. though i did read stub hub was being silent on a bunch of their events in terms of credits etc.

Yeah stubhub are being big time sketchy but i gotta imagine this is the absolute worst case situation for them. No revenue coming in, old revenue getting reversed, and now a backlog of laborious returns to verify. I wouldn't be surprised if this leads to bankruptcy, depending on how well capitalized they are.

Unfortunately one of the buyers is emailing me about what's going on and I told him don't worry I'll make sure you break even on this deal. I absolutely do not want to send him any paypal then stubhub issues a return and I lose. I told him to reach out to them and if he needs me to confirm the tickets are scraped I will.

I am not too concerned about my STH package I assume the team will work out my payments and allocate them fairly. If i do end up getting some 2020 games I don't mind. I definitely won't be attending but i'll try to do something with them. That 300 token option i think more then covers any "loses" this year so I think im square in 2020.

besides - i don't want a weekender bag, i want a performing DP that is committed to the club and a coach that doesn't bench and/or chase away talented players who perform. you want people to sign up for membership, create a winning team with a culture and supporter base that has full faith in the club and its vision.

As I already use a MasterCard Instead I got a invite to attend a virtual soccer skills experience presented by ..... emmm GMS
Will pass thanks

I've been offered an "intimate evening" with Gudi titled SWEET SERENADE. Please tell me I'm not the only one, otherwise this is going to get weird.

I got both options. I think you can sign up for any of the 4 experiences offered. 2 are available to RSVP right now (for me) and 2 are coming soon.

so it’s October now and we are nowhere close to getting Covid under control. Considering possible vaccine timelines, isn’t there a strong possibility that games will be held with no fans into mid-next year?

Here's my view on the 2021 season...

- There will be no city or state political changes. de Blasio will still be mayor, Cuomo will be governor. So there's not going to be a full reopening anytime soon.
- There will be limited capacity games before full capacity games. With limited capacity, you can't use season tickets as the basis for location since it's too closely packed together. The team will sell tickets on a game by game basis or a limited capacity season ticket stadium map for 2021 only (hopefully).
- 2021 season ticket payments will either be pushed to 2022 or be used as a credit for the limited capacity games.
- I see no fans in New York until spring/summer 2021 and then limited capacity in fall 2021.

EDIT: To add on to this...

- Who the hell knows what MLB will be doing with their 162 game schedule...
