2020 Schedule Thread

NJ lost. Now what happens?

1. Easiest way LAG draw/win Vs Houston tomorrow 10:30

2. Hard but not impossible. VAN beats CHI 1-0 AND CHI picks up enough disciplinary points to pass us in that category. Tomorrow at 8

#2 prob doesn’t happen. So we’re watching the LAG match to see if we go through.

71-53 in disciplinary points correct? Yaris flop cost us 8 points. Should be 63-53.

1 point per fouls. 3 for yellow card. Need Chicago to get chippy chasing a late goal 1-0.

It's not 1-0, it's any score winning by one goal, right? because vancouver is at -4 GD and we are at -2.

-EDIT-

Nevermind. It's not vancouver that would be against us in that scenario, it would be Chicago. That's where I went wrong! lol.

I believe Chicago only has 51.

We could have as high as 79 since Taty was also fined for embellishment earlier in the tourney.

ETA: That would mean we would need Chicago to pick up 28 or more disciplinary points assuming 79 is right. They picked up exactly 28 in their last match against San Jose.

sounds like a great prop bet to parley with the score.

I don’t think anyone knows for certain if MLS will be playing another game. The plan definitely calls for it but we don’t know what will happen once the teams return home. This thread will serve as a place to talk about the rest of MLS season. If any news or rumors come out feel free to share in here.

We’ve already seen how COVID has impacted teams outside of the bubble in MLS but also other leagues like MLB and NFL. With players returning home to their families it’s up to them to create their own bubble.
