Thanks for this. Well look right here, seems I was charged the City Member price not the Founding Member price!!! This is on top of not giving my credit, nor responding to my emails. Fuck me. And FUCK THEM

ETA: I strongly suggest EVERYONE double check their invoice against the pricing below. If you need my spreadsheet to help calculate, PM me and I'll happily share it.

That variable pricing link appears to be from last year. Prices appear to have increased, but not sure that chart should be used for reference.

i thought it was established that the pricing map was from 2019? So, if prices increased for 2020, then yes, you would be paying last year's city member prices. I just double checked the pricing for my tickets last year and yes, it seems to be last year's pricing map.

Well if that's the case, then they've increased the FM SS price by 9.13%, to the former CM pricing from 2019.

if you go to the bronx river market and go to the second or third floor, you get two hours f or $2. Then if you're late, you pay another $2 and you're good. :)
That's what I've been doing for this entire season, been saving me 25-30 per game
Wait. What? I always park at BRM. Why does it make a difference what floor you park on? Don't you get the same ticket regardless that you need to pay on the way out?

I recognize that I am paying for convenience. I have a 5 year old. I park on the second level. We walk 59 steps and I’m in the stadium. We leave and make a right to hit the Deegan going North.

Tough to park elsewhere considering the road I need to get on and having small children

hmmmm... the ticket machine is on the 2nd, so I like parking there, but it doesn't matter lol. Just easier to get out and to the field from 2 or 3.
You pay immediately when you get out of your car, which gives you the 2 hour thing. Then you pay again after the 2 hours end (or you get back earlier, whichever is first...). If you do it right, you payed $4-9, it might be like $2 and then $5 or $3 and $3 or something like that, but I just remember it's dirt cheap compared to the other places lol

Can I just say that the more I dwell on it the more infuriated I am with that stupid fucking email from Brad Sims?

1) We’ve never heard from you all season. No update on what you do or who you report to or anything you’ve accomplished for us, the fans, this season.

2) When you do email us, you write up the most useless, devoid of anything relevant, piece of shit e-mail you possibly could. We already fucking know that Heber and Mitri are on the team. We already fucking know that we have a new Captain. And we already fucking know that old line about a “future soccer specific stadium in the five boroughs.” I hate that they keep using that language. If you’re not going to give us any information on the progress or lack of progress, then just stop talking about it. Stop using it as a “membership benefit” because frankly, it’s not. If they ever build a stadium, being a founding member will have no bearing on my ability to acquire tickets. I highly doubt there are more than 5,000 unique season ticket members left. Probably less. Anyone who wants to get back in will be able to.

3) In the same email in which you ask us for more money for next year, you try and convince us that us giving out blue cards to friends is anything other than a slap in the face to all of us.

I'm putting together a Google form if people feel comfortable sharing their pricing so we can see if people are paying the same / different prices in the same section or tiers.

Ticket Pricing Form

If you click on the link it just asks your section, row, number of tickets, price per ticket in 2019 and 2020.

I updated the form again. I should've put an item for Founding and non-founding members. If anyone would like to resubmit, I'll match it to previous entries and remove the original.

Thanks!

Since my seats are in the front row, it's possible my $2 per game increase is for that, and my price would have remained flat if I were in row 2 or higher. But I don't know because there's no transparency and I'm tired of asking and not getting answers. It's also ridiculous because I planned on moving away from those seats anyway because they are sort of obstructed by the clear glass barrier at the bottom of the aisle. You can see through it, but it's a distraction and quite bad when wet. In fact, I was annoyed that the rep who helped me switch into them during last year's seat switch season didn't warn me. I never complained about it to the club or here until now because I think you live with your choices. But it's kind of offensive to think they would charge me a premium for them.

If only you had a way to convey this to the the team....[sigh].....

Am I going to be opted in or out if I keep ignoring the email?
Invoice is in my account even without accepting the T&C's from the email, is the answer to that question.

$23/ticket/game for the supporters section (not counting the $25 fee). Don't remember what is was last year.

Here's your answer good sir. Seems they bumped Founding Members in 2020 to City Member pricing from 2019. Which is a 9.1% increase.

Take it easy on the ticket reps. They didn’t raise your ticket prices. It’s like blaming your loca barista for Starbucks charging $5 for a latte.

agreed. Unless they make a snide remark like mentioned in that tweet.

Imagine after getting a bad tasting latte at Starbucks you said “this is awful. Why and I paying $5 for this when I can get the same crap at 7/11 for $2” and the barista chirped back “i’m sorry to hear you’re so poor you need to buy your coffee at 7/11”. Then the barista is even more to blame than the faceless corporation who’s just trying to increase profits with a crappy product at high prices. That’s business, the barista made it personal.

The lack of trust between the team and the fanbase right now is startling. There are a number of things the team could do to change that, but there is no indication they are willing or able to do any of them. It's sad, because NYCFC games are really fun to go to, and they're the cheapest major sports ticket in the city.

But no one trusts the organization right now for a myriad of reasons. The team treats its fans like we're children, and it's probably a main reason attendance is down so badly this year. It will take them a long time to snap out of this.

The rep in that tweet probably misused a scripted answer. That answer makes sense when someone complains about cost per se being too high. Not so much when someone complains of a disconnect with the secondary market price. But if you're fielding your 27th call you can get confused, and it can be a touchy subject even when applied correctly. Nobody wants to be told they might be too poor just because they think something is overpriced. It's a bad script.
