I have taken my 5yr old as well, expect to spend 20 mins in the bathroom and about 100 bucks on popcorn, cotton candy

and random other junk food in a bribe attempt to get them to sit still for remainder of the game
I am so glad that I can breathe without guilt! Reading all your posts, has brought some peace to mind and heart. I was feeling like the evil auntie ! Lol
I thought I was the only one going thru all the endless demand for food ,drinks and running to the bathroom and missing that golazo!
I was wondering if l, needed therapy because I want to pull my hair , or confessing to a priest that I needed penance for unkind, selfish wishes.that the 2 boys ,should have stayed home o_O with the parents.
But when they hug me , kiss me and call me Titi , my heart melts until I miss that golazo again . . . And the cycle . . .o_O Begins again Lol

Good stuff. You should actually be able to add some more to the data. This is because, for the most part, the categories that didn't exist prior to 2018 or 2019 were part of one of the original Categories 1-6. So, you should be able to fill in prices from the applicable categories in the earlier years.

Take my current section 205 as an example. It is currently "Sideline Mezzanine", but in prior years it was "Category 4". If you copy the Category 4 pricing for 2015-2018 down to Sideline Mezzanine, you can track the cost of those seats across the whole period.

I had really forgotten that Supporters tickets were $18 year 1. I think it just anchored as twenty bucks based on years 2-4

I'm curious to hear what you all think about the following excerpt from my rep's email in response to my email asking why I hadn't heard anything from the team since submitting my opt out form almost two weeks ago:

"It’s been an exciting, but very busy few weeks. Our leadership team will be circling back and reaching out before the 15th or right afterwards...With that said, I hope you’ve been watching because this is the best NYCFC team we have ever had. We’re in 1st place heading into playoffs and this could be the year we make a deep run. What if news of a stadium came in combination with that. You will regret the decision and there is still time to change your mind."

I've never had season tickets before this, so maybe I have unreasonable expectations here, but shouldn't the team be actively confirming the opt-out with those of us choosing to do so more than a day or two before the renewal deadline? Is this just an f*** you to those of us jumping off the bandwagon? A glaring organizational oversight? A calculated delay designed to give us time to change our minds (the rep's response seems to hint at this)? Or are there other business considerations I'm missing?

They should have followed up on the opt-out promptly. That’s just good communications practice.

But I’m happy to get our rumored “before the playoffs” timeline narrowed down to NEXT WEEK.

haha. he does make it sound like he has new information. but in reality, i think he's just using whatever he can to keep a member.

What if news that we'll be cutting Medina and signing Ronaldo came in combination with that.

If I’m not mistaken, that same line “you will regret the decision” was used on FredMertz FredMertz a year ago, maybe to the day.

Is the August 15 email from Brad Sims the only mass communication we've received about renewals? Did I miss anything?

That's exactly what I was told a year ago.

It's hard to imagine that the sales team would have knowledge of a new stadium announcement and there hasn't been a leak.

I don't want to raise the ire of Mr. G, but it's classic car sales technique.

That's been it. I was hoping we'd hear soon something, anything about a stadium update. September 14th I'm out.
Rep confirmed renewal period ends "this weekend"

I'm about to login and opt out. I was on the fence. I'm away for work this week and had to list Wednesday's game and tomorrow's game. I would take anything for them, but I'm not allowed to sell under their set price of $17 minimum. Neither have sold. I can't even find someone to go for free. First place team and can't give away 4th row seats? I don't mind taking a hit, but the value is not there anymore. Maybe I'll be replaced by someone that doesn't want to see at least one big name player playing in the greatest city in the world. There are "reasons" this is failing. It's not just one thing. The club is either inept, arrogant or it's just a sinking ship. I watch other MLS games and the atmospheres make us look like an NASL team. My son loved going to the games, he loved seeing Villa or Pirlo. He used to be yell with most of my section "release the Poku". It was good times. Now the crowds are sparse, half the people I see are on their phones, they aren't engaged, the team lacks personalities, the pitch is awful. I'm sad about it, but pulling the plug may actually relieve the pressure of owning them in a weird way. Maybe I'll get an ex-founding member scarf.
