This suggests that the stripes are actually more of a clear white. In the initial leaks, I thought that the stripes were closer to the same blue as the rest, only with a different sheen and the embedded logo (could just be me though). White stripes would at least move this further away from 2015.

apparently the leak was the replica? so the Authentic has not come out but i cant expect it to be too different from the replica.

I think it’s a great kit and a big improvement from the current sky blue kit.

oh damn... i dont know now. in the JPG, the stripes and monogram were faded and extra subtle... but in these pics.
The monogram now jumps at me like a freshman fashion design project.

I most likely will still get it. i need to touch it and see it in person first.

The more i see the Authentic, which I assume is the second pic with the young guy. The more i am not a fan.
The replica isnt as bright as the Authentic. Could be the lighting of the photos as well.

I just dont like the repeating monogram. looks a bit tacky.

i still don’t see why they say “we wear our heart on our sleeve” ? Looks like just the monogram is there but it’s also everywhere else on the front.
Maybe they will do a special patch for something ?

Reminds me of the Chelsea 16-17 home kit, which looked too much like pajamas in real life.

Idk those new pictures look photoshopped. I was really assuming (i know) that the Authentic would have added trim pieces. Every other leaked replica vs. Authentic had just a touch of additional color on the sleeves or collar, or both. I was expecting some navy touches on the white, which would make them look less large. Also no MLS patch on the sleeve (maybe they're going 2 sponsor patches & ditching the mls patch all together on the authentics?)

Footyheadlines did a good write up of the 2021 adidas authentic vs. replicas, and most showed differences in the obvious things like heat pressed crest / adidas logo, mls patch, etc. but they also look to have different trim colors, with the replicas being fewer / no colors, and the authentic having some additional color. I'm hoping that happens with ours and we get some orange/navy trim pieces

I thought last year they said they'd go from 2 to 1 to allow for a sponsor patch. Then at MLS is back teams had 2 sponsors, we had AT&T and Ford if I recall.
