Another official release, Authentic vs. Replica with additional detail on the Authentic around the collar / sleeves adding extra color. I'm expecting to see our Authentic with navy blue added to the trim pieces.
kinda lame the replica doesn't have the title stars. like every jersey should have it replica or authentic. the other details i get there will be difference.

FCC always does what I wish NYCFC would do with our color scheme. Tell me that this FCC jersey isn't one of the most aesthetically pleasing jerseys you've ever seen
i'd still want the sky blue main color. but orange or navy piping between the stripes with contrasting colors on the cuffs and would be nice. but instead we just go all in on sky blue and white. nothing else of interest except the over use of an embossed monogram..
You know what it's like? When a kid first makes a joke and everyone laughs and then they continue making the joke again and again and everyone just starts going "ugh stop, we got it" - people were like "monogram looks like!" and nycfc decided "let's use it on EVERYTHING EVER"
...To me the kit looks nice, but I just don't get why so plain. nothing popping, nothing inherently interesting. When viewing from a tv screen, it'll just look like a solid blue anyway. (and let's be honest, really high chance most of us are watching most of the games on tv anyway this year)
Came here to say exactly this. If you changed the royal blue pin stripe to a "sky blue" pin stripe and added our logo, i would have already bought it as my favorite secondary kit, even above the inaugural black one. (Which is some how still my favorite)
chicago fire's secondary kit is pretty nice too. haven't seen anything like that before in MLS and it looks great. so basically every other team has had some creative minds dishing out some great design proposals to adidas except for ours...
also - why is some of these teams are releasing two jerseys instead of just one? is it cause of the fire rebrand?

Not sure, but the Fire are going to be updating their crest again, likely to be released next year.

Yeah I wish I could just buy one. And of course Johnson's is the Parlay kit which is even rarer. Wonder how easy it'd be to dye one off the shelf lol
