Birnbaum and Beckerman, off the top of my head.

Checking wiki, it says Zac MacMath, too.

ETA: duh, Bornstein [inmeant Spector] is here now, right? And Steres.

A little surprising there are that many, I guess. Until you consider the general socioeconomic demographics of the game in the US from say, 1980-200?.

Per NYCFC's Instagram/Snapchat story, Alexander Ring will be wearing number 8.

Should Alexander Ring or his family ever mosey on over here, I'm guessing he'll be mildly perplexed/amusing as to how his thread, as of this moment, consists of two posts about him and five posts about MOTs in MLS and our customary bread. This is arguably the best we've ever done at getting off topic so quickly. Love this place!

Ring gives interviews for the Finnish media very sparingly, but has now talked about the MLS, NYCFC and his life in NYC to the Finnish Broadcasting company. https://yle.fi/urheilu/3-9751093

It's in Finnish, so switch on your Google Translators... Abridged: he thinks Vieira is managing him very well, and letting him express himself in a way his former coaches haven't. He also says that the quality of the MLS is well above the second Bundesliga, and perhaps a bit surprisingly, NYCFC is the most professional club he's played for (and he's played even for Borussia Mönchengladbach). At the beginning, he was surprised by the media presence even in the dressing room right after the game, but is used to it now. He says that the fans are better than in Germany, because they are more positive, whereas it's very critical in Germany. Loves to play at the YS.

Of fellow players, Ugo Okoli and Andre Rawls praise Ring's skills, tactical and positional sense, experience, and his influence on and off the pitch, saying he's a joker but also very serious about his work. Ring himself says it's great to train with Pirlo, and how easy it's to see why they call him the Maestro. Good news for the NYCFC fans is that he and his family enjoy NYC very much.

Great stuff. Thanks. You should post this in the media thread too.

I will now only refer to Andre Rawls as Team Grandmaster Andre Rawls.

Alexander Ring has been named to the Finland WC qualifiers vs Iceland (2nd Sept) and Kosovo (5th Sept). Obviously this means that he'll be unavailable for the Sporting Kansas encounter.

That really sucks. They are one of 5 teams in the current UEFA qualifying stages that are already eliminated. The others being San Marino, Macedonia, Liechtenstein, and Kosovo.

Patrick Vieira, alone in his office...

Except without the stupid laughing.

In reality, Finland is already eliminated from qualifying for the World Cup so it would just be a show. And we don't need another international getting hurt abroad (see Wallace, Chanot).

These games seem like the perfect opportunity for Finland to blood a youth prospect in meaningless matches.
