I am not. But a good question for Reyna if someone is thinking of one...

When you received word that Patrick Vieira wanted to exit his contract early, please discuss the hiring process for Dome Torrent and if any coaches outside of CFG where considered and interviewed. What led to the ultimate choice for Dome and are you satisfied with his results for the first team since his hiring?

It was almost a guarantee that he was going to be 3 and done, which actually means with the schedule conflict it was likely (or at least possible) that he would be 2.5 and done. So I would hope that they would have thought this through much earlier. I would be really interested to know how early they began this process, even if it were just preliminary planning and strategizing. Waiting until hearing about the PV flirting, would have been very short-sighted (and lazy). I guess what I am saying is that I would like to know about the earlier stages of the process, and that I probably don’t want to really hear about that.

At the least the club had too discuss Vieira's intentions with him between the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Not to have done that would be managerial malpractice by Reyna and co. And the problem with them being so opaque is it's impossible to tell, or even make an informed guess. You see what you want to see. But the evidence is consistent both with them being caught completely flat-footed, and that they had Dome in their back pocket as a fail-safe all along.

Tell them thanks for the season long parking pass offer.

And ask them if we have our own budget or if we’re a line item for CFG. Or don’t. I don’t care. I’ve more or less given up on this club. It seems I won’t ever love it. They’ve successfully created a lukewarm experience, in stadium and as a fan.

I got nothing for that. Can’t wait for CFG to get a club where they build real serious facilities.

Anybody get the detail email about the event tonight yet? My rep said there would be more details, possibly about a dress code, but I haven't seen anything yet. I'm also keen to find out what time it's supposed to be finishing up.

Same here. I had to follow up with them (as usual) and even then all I got was a quick reply with the place and time. Maybe I’ll just wear shorts and a t shirt.

A very long non-impactful answer about a stadium, no audience q and a and the NYCFC folks bolted after a shortened program. Also, Alex Ring wears bizarre sneakers.

With the lack of a stadium, Dome, and what is essentially a youth rebuild, if the team doesn’t produce wins, these gatherings are going to be complete wastes of time since the overriding theme is listening to the hit single entitled Patience.

The only interesting takeaway for me was that it seems Reyna has been encouraging Ring to be more aggressive offensively. He predicted 5 goals. Watch out Supporters section...

    My takeaways:

    - Sims does not inspire confidence. He was neither clear nor concise and doesn't have the presence of any of our previous leadership. Listening to him talk was draining.
    - Ring was captivating.
    - The theater seats 140. I don't know how many people were there but it felt really small. Not intimate. Not curated. Small... like mid table USL small.

Exactly my same thought with Sims. He talks so much that you forget what the question was in the first place.
