Atlanta (Home) - Postmatch

In the first half of the season we had a 12 match unbeaten streak and averaged 1.7 points per game.
In the last 15 games we've averaged 2.13 points per game, and can max out at 2.23 points per game if we win out.

NYCFC has been exceptional all year long sans the first five games. Many of the draws we had the first half of the year have been wins this half. And tonight's win feels like the cherry on top. Getting hot at the right time.

We played a great game. Ibeagha stepped up and had a fantastic performance.

Mitri coming into form at the right time. Taty was a menace! Heber hasn't lost a step!

Only one really off tonight was maxi and isi. Neither seemed to be at their sharpest. Maxi needs to stop taking pks. I get not being discouraged but at this point it's a detriment to the team. Dome needs to pick someone else.

Great game without key players. Our depth has shined this year. We did a great job controlling the midfield. When we got sloppy and stopped winning those balls, ATL came at us. But as soon as we went after those balls we had full control.

Not sure why Pogba didn't get a second yellow. Thought Chapman called a decent game. Not perfect but that's ok.

I wonder why fdb didn't start meram and gressel. Was not having Josef that critical to their normal attacking formation?

So we are missing ring, taty and chanot for new England? Possibly tinnerholm and parks too? Id like to see dome rotate. Especially if Philly drop points tonight.

Philadelphia needs to win its remaining 3 games and NYC needs to lose its final two games for Philly to finish first.

Atlanta is done. If NYCFC meets ATL in the playoffs it will be at Citi Field, not that trash plastic in Atlanta.
And Philly needs to score about 10-12 goals

EDIT: NYCFC have a +12 goal differential going into Philadelphia's game tonight so technically Philly could win by more and NYCFC could lose by more but it's unlikely.

EDIT EDIT: I'm wrong, silly MLS tiebreaker rules

GD isn't the tiebreaker. It's wins, and if we tie on points we lose on that.
I need a macro.
