New York City FC at Impact de Montréal
Stade Saputo
Saturday, September 22th 7 PM ET
YES, WNYE 91.5 FM, WQBU 92.7 FM

After a week off, we play at Montreal. International break players are back. Alex Ring is back from yellow card accumulation. But will the team spirit come back? A ton of questions heading into this match.

I'll be there!

highly recommended going to Schwart'z for a smoked meat sandwich
I actually read something about them, will definitely be stopping by there. Looks and sounds delicious, thanks for the recommendation!!

i can confirm, its good stuff. Granted i had just landed about an hour prior so was really hungry. but was excellent

so how do i get a ticket to this game? i know there was $10 special for Season ticket holders. i registered in the away ticket page on nycfc but they say i got to wait till next week? do i get email with link to purchase?

Montreal Impact v New York City
Stade Saputo (7:30PM ET)
REF: Nima Saghafi
AR1: Oscar Mitchell-Carvalho
AR2: Chris Wattam
4TH: Marcos DeOliveira
VAR: Fotis Bazakos

All I care about Nima is that during a home game at Yankee Stadium when it was like 73 degrees, he put on a pair of pants and jacket. Yelled at him said said, "Nima, you're cold? It's warm out." He gestured back yeah.

Just in case folks need to take a walk down memory lane to the July MTL-NYCFC game. Montreal started Piatti and Taider. NYCFC started McNamara and Wallace. 3-0. Shots 23-3. Possession 69-31.

Umm... it was 0-0 till mata & lewis came in for Wallace and Tummy in the 60th minutes. Then it was 3-0 by the 76th minute. With goals from both Mata & Lewis.

And I seem to recall that Montreal started a few schlubs in that one due to the midweek schedule.

Still, we boatraced that team, which is something we should be doing more often.
