RBNJ was even worse than we were at the COVID Cup, so I have at least some hope we can win this.

RBNJ just signed a forward from Salsburg. No idea if he's any good.

Hopefully we can put together a massive performance and payback the 7-0. would be nice to get that off our backs.

Also - hope we see more Nico. His limited time in orlando was great. I want to see more of him on the field for sure.

They also offloaded Muyl, who was one of their better players imo. Strange

This reminds me of how hilarious I think it is when Red Bull fans call us a "farm team", or Man City Light. They've been in the nearly same role (if not worse) with the other Red Bull clubs since we've joined the league.

Red Bulls

• They've had loans from Red Bull Salzburg of now 4 different players. Rzatkowski has been the only serviceable one so far. Gulbrandson was so bad, he only lasted there 3 months. Other two were Omer Damari and now Samuel Tetteh
• Their head coach left for another Red Bull coaching position
• They transferred Tyler Adams to another Red Bull team for $2.89m when his market value (according to Transfermarkt) was $5m

NYCFC

• We've had 4 players loaned from MCFC, 3 of those in our atrocious first year as we were building a team from nothing
  • Shay Facey - became our starting CB due to our terrible CB options​
  • Angelino - became our starting LB now with market value of 20m euros (and just so happens to be playing with a Red Bull team at the moment)​
  • Eirik Johansen - our 3rd string keeper our first year, then backup keeper​
  • Yangel Herrera - significant player now with a market value approaching 10m euros​
• We transferred Jack Harrison for 4m euros when his market value (according to Transfermarkt) was 1.75m euros

I'm not trying to say our relationship with Man City is perfect, but criticism coming from Red Bull fans for it is completely hypocritical.

While I agree that’s probably our best 11 I think Medina will probably stay in. Not sure Nico is match fit. He saw about 20 minutes of game time. I’m also over Ring.

I actually don't want him to start either. I like the midfield/CB combo you have there (although I'm really giving some consideration to Parks over Ring)

I'd just have him on the bench over Ibby so I was moreso surprised that he wasn't on the bench.

Looking at last night's boxscore on the league website, looks like a bench of 9 with 5 subs (assuming 5 subs even though both teams only used 4 last night).

I believe the substitute rules from the tournament are still in effect because it was actually a FIFA rule/guideline/mandate that is in effect until next year.

Does anybody know what's the deal with ESPN+? Does it put NYCFC matches in our local market or it has to be YES? If it has to be YES the only option is HULU.
