I think Hulu is very inferior to YouTubeTV. The interface is clunky and requires a lot more effort to navigate. The service is spotty - for a lot of EPL matches I would miss the second half because the app still thought it was in commercials and would just stream an endless reptition of commercials. It also hangs up from time to time. The DVR service isn’t as good, and you pay extra for it. Often, I am not allowed to fast forward through commercials, even though I also paid extra for a commercial free package.

Hulu is okay. I can't speak for Gator, but I think it's functional to a point but not great. I originally had Sling but stopped after they dropped Fox Sports, essentially my only reason to watch it was for BuLi (Bayern) games. Hulu had it and was cheaper at the time than Youtube TV so I signed up for Hulu Live around a year ago. Now the price has gone up and Fox lost the BuLi rights to ESPN+, so I'm starting to think there's really no reason for me to keep spending $60+ a month on it. Sporting wise I really only watch BuLi, PL, MLS, CL, and the NHL. Don't follow baseball or basketball. Follow NFL but mostly for fantasy football reasons, no specific team. May downgrade to the regular commercial free option just for streaming older shows/movies. My only minor concern now is how to watch PL since Hulu also has NBCSN. May just sign up for peacock (is that NBC's app?) or find another method.

In short, Hulu is not terrible but not great. Depends what you're looking for your streaming service to do. It is nice that it has multiple levels of payment depending on what you want, be it just streaming shows/movies or wanting live TV as well.
That's good to know. I think I'm similar to you in that I really only want live tv for sports related reasons (soccer, college bball, NFL). Other sports on top of that and a few other channels are added bonuses.

The problem is it seems there isn't one streaming service that carries all the sports-related channels I need. Which is really only YES, ESPN, FS1, FS2, CBSSN, and the traditional OTA channels.

The next problem is Youtube TV had all of those and was pretty reasonable price-wise. They've since dropped YES and added other content that I don't care about, and jacked up the price around $15/mo or something like that.

The next problem (and probably the worst) is I'm a creature of habit and like what I'm familiar with, and YTTV does have a great user interface that I really don't want to get rid of it.

peacock is free, so sign up! just sucks to have to use yet ANOTHER service to watch something they could easily put on their broadcast networks but alas, they want to shove more content down our throats and make us find what we want.

Agree with everyone that YTTV is superior to Hulu. I use both and Hulu's interface is just annoying as hell. I only have Hulu for the older TV stuff (no live TV) and it's still annoying to navigate. It is, at least, integrated with google assistant, so that helps sometimes.

I only really watch soccer.. MLS and EPL mostly. Would love to watch La Liga but that's a BT Sports exclusive, which is only on fubo. I think the only real solution (for me) is to keep YTTV cause i enjoy the interface (and also share it with 5 other people through the family group) and google integration, re-subscribe to ESPN+ during the MLS seasons and use my VPN to watch games televised on YES. Probably the cleanest solution without having to deal with another pricey subscription.

Fanatiz is my solution to everything that on beinSports. $7.99/mo

What I mean by that is I have a basic cable package (no hbo/showtime) and all the games are televised. Baseball and hockey on Sun sports (our version of Yes) and magic games (100 miles away) are on regional fox sports channel. Football is on on the local affiliate as well. Different market than NY the with a lot less competition which would explain things.

YES is on the basic level, too. If you get cable, you get YES.

Sounds like everyone is hyped for this game.

That second goal from Villa was pure magic. It amazing to watch him just go with full determination and make it happen. We have a lot of fun to watch players in the team now but I do miss the excitement of watching Villa and knowing that any moment you could see him do something that only a handful of players in the world are capable of.

isi, gideon - OUT
Maxi - questionable.

It'd be nice if Maxi was available off the bench. Especially with how much we struggled in Orlando against the Florida teams' high press without him.

But, we're also beginning a 6 games in 23 day stretch, so anything that limits Maxi's risk of further injury is likely best. Even if that means he doesn't play at all tonight.

Oof, Maxi questionable means I'll be watching from behind the couch
