3-1 Loss. Maxime Chanot and Taty are out next match due to yellow card accumulation.

Not sure if the team is good or bad. I am sure it is boring.

The team is bad. We've just been playing against teams more bad. Now we're playing against teams that are good and it's showing how bad we are. Maybe Maxi will make a difference. Maybe Heber would have made a difference. But aside from that 3-1 win vs. Toronto in the bubble, we just haven't been at that contender level.

considering this is the 4th game in a string of games where we had only 3-4 days rest and it was same day travel and we are short players all over the place, i wasn't expecting too much more than this.

maxi looked like a man on fire when he got in the field. it was really nice to see. no one else had a very good game and there were tons of individual mistakes all over the pitch from just giving it away on a dribble, bad passes, or just totally falling asleep on defense.

We played one of the better sides in the league with a very tired squad on the road. I'll chalk this up to exhaustion. I'm not too concerned about it.

Next week it's all hands on deck as we officially we have zero attacking subs. at least we have ibby to fill in for chanot.

Every team in the league is playing twice every week. Almost every team, including Columbus, is short key players. We have just one win against a quality team and they just smoked us tonight. We’re mediocre at best. A strong playoff run would be most improbable, but it’s 2020 so anything goes, but yeah, it would shock me.
My optimism, or at least hope, is focused on 2021. Two new DPs and possibly a major overhaul and in MLS, vast season to season swings happen regularly.

This season is so shit it's hard to care. I half watched till it was 2-0 then flipped over to watch something else. Came back when I saw it was 2-1 late turned it back on just in time for the penalty . I really hope they have a impressive DP signing in mind for next season or a manager that can excite people when they can Ronny because I have to imagine enthusiasm for this team is at an all time low.

we weren't good tonight. i won't try to say we are. but we also drew a very good orlando side and dominated that game for pretty much close to 70 minutes. we couldn't hit the back of the neck, but playwise we were great. we were not that tonight. we played like we did vs new england and the results show it.

are we a championship caliber team? hell no. are we better than what we showed tonight? yes. our mental game is one of the things that has been our weakpoints in prior seasons. it is why we fall apart when it comes to the playoffs and why our 3rd game in a series of congested games is usually our worst.

i don't think this game is the standard of this team. i think we are much better than this, but we are no where what we were last year. we have a depleted squad, a coach who didn't believe in rotating until this game for some reason, and a coach who doesn't really know how to get the best from our players.

We got beat. Gave away easy goals and made many individual mistakes that made everything seem a lot worse.

2020 sucks. i'm looking forward to 2021. i'm hoping we sign some competent DPs who can complement Maxi's final year with us and provide us the quality boost we need to make a deep run in the playoffs. That being said, Ronny selecting those DPs worries me and I'm wondering if I should just prepare myself for disappointment until we finally open a stadium, have a good coach, and good DPs..

just don't let orlando or the red bulls win the cup before us.

Great to see Maxi out there again, and I thought he looked really dynamic and energetic. Keaton was also great. Aside from that ... not great. I don't know if it was fatigue, but we just looked a step slow. Jesus had an absolute howler. They really need to move on from him. Crazy at the start of the season we thought we had too many forwards. Now we have no forwards available on the bench and, in fact, will have to have Matarrita play as a winger in the next game.

This season has been so weird -- it's felt like we've played well enough to win almost every game, then we just don't finish the job. I don't know if it's on the coach or on the players -- it does kind of feel like Ronny has the team getting into good spots, then they just can't finish the job. But I do think the team has been much better since returning to local markets than they were early in the year and at the tournament. We do need to be fair -- last 13 games they're 7-3-3.

I also agree with the person who said we seem to get most of our points against the worse teams in the East. I'd have to look that up, but it does seem like we don't play nearly as well against the best teams. This has been a weird season and we've missed two of our best players for most of it. I think it's fair to say this just isn't our season, and Ronny really isn't to blame for many of the things that ail this team this season. Just one of those years where things haven't clicked and aren't likely to for a number of reasons.

We came into tonight with two losses in our last 12 games.

Strange, you're right. Sure feels like we've been doing a lot worse than we are. However, we can't win against top teams. We beat columbus once, lost the other two... can't beat orlando... We beat new england, but would we really call them "top team"?

That is a very fair criticism. We have struggled against top teams. We did beat Columbus at RBA in August, and beat Toronto in the tournament. But those really are our only two impressive wins this season. At some point, you are what your record says you are. And right now, we are a middle-of-the-table team and nothing more than that.

Exactly. So I guess my initial statement should have been, "Wow, another loss to a top-tier team? Who would have guessed!"
