Not our match, unfortunately. But realize that Canadians must quarantine for 14 days upon return to Canada if they visit the US.

Not exactly setting up a home crowd advantage then. You'll get locals (who might rarely travel to the Bronx or Foxboro) who just want to see first league soccer, and Higuain will add to that draw. I doubt many Miami fans make the trip, but they could outnumber Torontoans (?) given the quarantine issue.

isn't CT part of the new england coalition and therefore has the mandatory quarantine for listed states? so florida is one of those states so fans would have to quarantine before they watched a game. really doubt they'd make that kind of effort to support the team in person ..

Good point.
CT might even share NY’s quarantine criteria. I do believe, however, that CT might allow visitors to skip or shorten quarantine if they produce a negative test. But yeah, no matter the specifics, there are enough obstacles I doubt hardly any people travel to the game from outside the region.

i am hoping a fresh taty will be hungry for goals and look to torch the slow TFC dmid and cbs...
We play some boring football with rare moment of brilliance. Can’t discount a few of the goals we scored last week with great buildup and passing but those moments have been few and far between. We can’t seem to score goals unless it’s shots on a wide open net with goalie out of position.
I’d like to see Taty rip one outside of the box.

we have been missing maxi for much of the season. i think that plays a huge part in our lack of creativity. but yes, i agree that overall we have been pretty meh to watch this season.

TFC CBs are notoriously slow. If taty takes advantage of his pace and maxi's vision, he could be in on goal time and time again. the question is whether we'll get that opportunity or if we'll be constantly defending our own goal...

Right. We've got to win the midfield tonight. We have to control possession and keep them from applying constant pressure. It's often an issue against Toronto.

Yangel would have come handy tonight. When they were overrun by Philly's midfield where both Monteiro and Martinez are very fast and very physical, it showed that Bradley was too slow and Delgado too soft to compete.

exactly. bradley has always been slow but he's even slower now cause he's older and coming back from injury. delgado is more mobile, but isn't a strong tackler or midfield presence.

Sands would have been great tonight cause he's mobile and physical. Hoping Ring stays in the midfield tonight to give us that mobility and physicality. Parks will need to up his game tonight as well and Maxi needs to be maxi.

Hoping Ronny goes for the statement win and plays a strong front 3 but we don't really have a lot of choices. Taty is back, add Gary on a wing, and then that's basically it. I feel like he's going to watch to put Medina in the lineup again, so chances are we are going to see Wing Ring again...

Damn. I'm 20 minutes from the stadium. I probably would have sucked it up and gone if they were open for tonight's match.
