Sounds like Higuain will be in contention to get time tonight. Doubt he'll be match fit to start next weekend, but it'd be nice to play him.

Some interesting line up questions for this one. With Callens out on Yellow card accumulation do we get our first Ibegha start or does Sands play CB with Cacha getting his first start in the middle?

I'm also interested to see who plays LW if Ring is out. Does Ronnie play Ring there because he wants Ring on the field and he doesn't have enough spots at CDM for Ring/Parks/Sands or does he actually value having some level of defensive ability in that spot to help with the counter press? If he wants some defensive ability in that spot do we see some combination of Mata and Thórarinsson together on the left.

Unless things have changed, Ring will play. Think someone also said Ibby may have picked up or reinjured himself during sub-warmups so we'll have to see if there's any development there. If Ibby is healthy, I think we will see him start at CB simply cause I think Ronny is in love with a Sands & Parks double holding mids.

I complain a lot about Ronnie but one nice thing is that he seems to change his opinion on players quickly, about a month ago he wouldn't start Parks, now he loves him. Let's hope this last game resolved any lingering questions he had about ITS and Mitri so they can go back to be fixtures of the starting line up as well.

I actually listened the the game via the team's radio broadcasters and after the match the two announcers were watching the subs do their post game sprints on the field. They said everyone was participating except Ibby. Ibby was slowly jogging around the pitch and they mentioned he had a bit of a limp or was atleast favoring one leg over the other.

looks like Higuain in MLS is Argentina Higuain and not Serie A Higuain..
I watched the Philly/Miami game last night to get a sneak peak. He played a full 90' despite not having played a game since August 7. He missed a penalty and then got into a spat with a Philly player who was celebrating after he missed. It looked like he was hungry, but he's not sharp at all right now. Otherwise, I think he scores the bicycle:

More generally, I thought the 3-0 scoreline reflected again that Miami was a little hard done by and that they are better than their now 9 losses reflect. I'm not sure exactly what what wrong for them or what their problem is generally. It was 1-0 going into halftime, and Philly went up 2-0 against the run of play. The third was pure Brendan Aaronson being a boss. But I wouldn't under estimate them as an opponent.

Also, I was kind of hoping González Pírez got a yellow because he would have been out on accumulation against us but no such luck. He was actually trying to bait the ref into giving a second yellow to Sergio Santos which is rich.

I'm guessing that Mitrita is glad that Gonzalez-Pirez is not out on yellow card accumulation.

Anyone going to watch this tonight? Wondering if I should even open chat :tearsofjoy:
We should win but I can see Higuain putting 3 past us. Callens will miss this match so I’m already worried.

I will watch, but might not get there live.

Miami’s not bad. This is the kind of game we need to win if we want to rejoin the league’s elite, but it’s not a walkover.
