Brad Sims to Lead NYCFC as CEO | Matt Goodman as COO

I read the article. I have no clue what he does here.

If all he does is run NYCFC's business ops competently, keep Ferran and CFG interested in our future, and cultivate a more communicative culture, he'll be a goddamn hero as far as I'm concerned. (A stadium wouldn't hurt but I figure that falls somewhere under the first two headings.)

I'd say the interview was encouraging to me. He has a clear idea of who his stakeholders are, and while "listening" may seem to some like an empty cliche, it does touch upon the very real issues this club has with connecting to its fans.

I believe this is his task

Last night, a group of 12 or so season ticket holders in premium seats including myself met with Sims. He is a real person.

And for the intern reading, he's very long winded.
Good. About the meeting that is. Not the long windedness. I've been waiting to hear that he started to hold meets like this.
I think the best value in these meetings though is when Patricof/Sims asks questions and lets the fans talk. It should be a listening tour, not speaking. I get that fans want to ask questions which can lead to long responses but it's not the ideal format.
