RBLeipzig already announced Tyler Adams would be in their 18, as well.

I may be moving to Hamburg next year.
It seems that both teams or at least 1 will be back in the Bundesliga 1.
Has anyone been to a Hamburg or St Pauli game?
Any input on the experience?

If you have a solitary ounce of cool in your sentient and or physical being, you go with St Pauli. That Hamburg diamond logo is pretty clutch though.

Funny, because the opposite is true with beer logos.

It's a little more complicated than this. I'm not a real expert but my understanding is that Hamburg are a pretty typical German working class support. Saint Pauli are famous for their far left supporters with a punk rock aesthetic most of their merch features a Skull and Crossbones (Though it's not on their actual badge) so part of the question does come down to your politics . I'm decidedly liberal but I think the Saint Pauli support largely come across as a step or two passed me to the left. The other question would be are you more into watching the match or the crowd? I'm into punk music (Old punk and new wave are arguably my two favorite genres) but again at times I think the punk ethos of the club might be a bit put on for effect by at least some of the fan base and the actual football comes second?

Haha, to be completely candid, I was super hungover and being sarcastic. But this is really informative.

Union Berlin over St. Pauli. Wrong town, of course. But way cooler club for those inclined to believe in classical liberal thought and freedom.

ETA: as Davo15 Davo15 aptly describes it, I could never, ever support St. Pauli. And I pretty clearly support an English club with massive socialist culture pervasive in its supporter ethos. Although, I find it funny as a non-socialist to find how often they are socialist to suit, and not much more.

Eta2: which pretty much mirrors mosts brands of socialism I’ve ever encountered. Socialists: the ultimate political capitalists.

Eta3: only one German club I really loathe, and that’s 1860. They can suck it. Hard.

Hoooooboi what a week!
1. Dortmund have convinced me that if they can beat RB Leipzig without some key players, we're ready to challenge all the way to the end of the season.
2. Can't believe Mainz ousted Stuttgart. I was sure it would go the other way and we'd finally start seeing the table settle to what we ( Schwallacus Schwallacus ) expected at the start.
3. Bosz start to life at Leverkusen hasn't gone too well...

I'm excited for the relegation battle because you see both Hannover and Stuttgart back at the bottom and we know neither of them want to go back down yet again... and Augsburg haven't been playing terrific this season which has surprised me. will Duesseldorf fall back into relegation territory? Will they Darmstadt it? And then up top will Hoffenheim and Leverkusen push Frankfurt and Wolfsburg out of Europe?

Let's play a Rückrunde prediction game! (don't take feelings into account, just what you truly think will happen)
1. Does Bayern overtake Dortmund?
No
2. Who gets relegated after what we've seen from 19 MD's?
Nurnburg, Augsburg
3. Who is in the RPO (#16) spot, who do they go up against (#3 of B.2.) and who goes up?
Hannover vs St Pauli- St Pauli win and go up
4. Who gets direct promotion?
HSV, Koln
5. Who gets UCL?
Dortmund, Bayern, MBG, Leipzig
6. Who gets UEL?
Frankfurt, Hoffenheim

What's the deal with Union Berlin?

What's the deal with Union Berlin?
"In former GDR times Union was known for a rivalry with Dynamo Berlin who was affiliated with East Germany's Secret Service Stasi. Union was patronized by Eastern German Trade Union FDGB. The club played some identificatory role in the unofficial opposition against the authorities of the communist system."
Taken from Wikipedia. Can look into the source in the book by K. Farin/H. Hauswald: Die dritte Halbzeit (The Third Half).

BVB just going through some growing pains? Bad two weeks or so without Reus? The title race is back, baby!
Will certainly be interesting now that BVB only have the BuLi to focus on. Bayern is still technically in the CL (still not confident), Pokal, and now back in the search for the shield. I haven't seen whole BVB games recently, so I don't know what's been going wrong for them. Interested in your opinion Shwafta.
Düsseldorf coming through, now a mid table team is surprising. Neverkusen slowly stepping up the table, hope they're able to get a CL or EL spot at the end of the season. Leipzig has been a machine since Adams joined the cub, which is awesome for them and the US. Sadly, Mckennie's Schalke have just been treading water all year and may even be fighting Augsburg and Stuttgart for the relegation playoff spot. Can the most beautiful man, Mario Gomez save Stuttgart? Sargent has done well for Bremen, as they are undefeated so far in the second half of the year (last loss in December). They even eliminated BVB in an entertaining Pokal match.

I still can't believe Mainz is doing what they're doing. I can't wait for Koln and Hamburg to return next year, Modeste is gonna wreck Havoc 2.0 on the BuLi!
I'm really excited to see Schalke so low, especially with out second RevierDerby coming up soon...

I think the problem for Dortmund is that the attack just can't figure itself out. We get chances, but no one puts them in. Reus has been absent and just came back recently, and during that period he was gone we couldn't do anything- now that he's back, yesterday against Tottenham we looked extremely menacing and looking to gel back together- I expect Stuttgart rout and then back to what were at the start of the season. Favre is g onna have a meeting, discuss with the players and say "Look, we're out of the chapion's league, but don't worry! The league is still ours for the taking"
This is gonna be the most exciting title race in what, 7 years?

I'm also very surprised at Hoffenheim's fall this season.

As well, super surprised at Augsburg.
