Anyone in MLS like Beckerman?
Maybe Perry Kitchen at DC or Jeff Larentowicz at Chicago.
Outside of MLS, not sure who can play that role without being a DP (besides the ones already mentioned).
JL isn't even close to Beckermans level. It's amazing they've kept him in the US so long. Honestly surprised he didn't hop over the pond years ago
Larentowicz is very good at what he does: destroyer. He's also a vocal leader. But no he isn't Beckerman.

Here are three possible non-MLS Americans for the CDM (The Beckerman):
Reading's Danny Williams
Bolton's Stuart Holden
FC Ingolstadt's Alfredo Morales
The first two might be DPs, I am not sure. Holden has had massive injury problems. Morales is still young and prone to mistakes but has a lot of potential.
The only one I've heard of is Holden, and only in passing. Not sure of the capabilities of any of them to be honest. I haven't been following the sport the way I do now to know many foreign players. Hell I don't even know all the domestic ones
Morales and Williams are interesting players. I am not sure Holden can stay healthy any more, let alone be a dynamic d-mid that I've been searching for. He might be better out wide or as a CAM.
Williams got some looks from the USMNT and is one of the famous Afro-GermaniCans. He transferred from Bundesliga to Reading and has been impressive so far for them. Morales is younger and still raw. He had a few bad games but also has a ton of upside. I can see him coming and for less than a DP.
