He more or less said this early in his tenure; something along the lines of "what matters is the playoffs" and I imagine the closest analog in his mind to the MLS Playoffs is a knockout tournament. So the optimistic part of me wants to believe that his general attitude has been "the league is basically over, let's try to focus on winning the tournament".

I'm really interested in seeing what he does with this three-week break. He can almost make it a mini training camp and really get the team up to speed with his systems and fix what's been ailing them. Still hoping for that October peak.
