City Voice

I kept pushing Orange Crush by REM. That song works so well.

Should have said one of my favorite teams was the Trenton Thunder. Well there's a missed opportunity for a punchline!

I got two e-mails. One is addressed to Founders and the other is not. I wonder if the links lead to different stuff.
Yea the non-founders email was sent first so I signed up for that one... Then in the afternoon I got the special link that addressed me as a founders member... It didn't let me re register my email after that so I want to make sure my status is as a founders member... Anyone know if it makes a difference...

Just finish signing up. I like this "City Voice" idea and hopefully the club DO pay attention to us, the supporters.
With that being said I picked the white stripe Home and Away armbands cause the blue/orange looks like the Chicago Bears colors and For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) by ACDC as favorite song since they will never play Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura or Domination by Pantera \m/

FYI to everyone who signed up, not sure if you noticed the message after providing your answers, but it seems like they're going to post another round of activities to participate in on Tuesday.

They said everyone few weeks there will be new questions for us to answer so watch your emails for new surveys

i hope they do those behind the scenes or when they travel documentary based films like they did with nbcsn what was it? 36 hours before? or something like that

How do the chosen armbands not have any orange in them? Does this team want any relation to New York?

Perhaps I'm overly cynical but I think this feature will basically be meaningless things they'll let us give our input on so we can feel more connected to the club.

I sincerely doubt they'd ever let us vote on the uniforms. Would be incredible if they did but there's a very real method to that madness.

Didn't they have a vote on the badge? to me, that's a bigger deal than voting on a year long jersey

Yes but in light of everything, do you think that vote was even legitimate?

Strange how the logo that most resembled MCFC's old logo won isn't it? (I really like our crest/logo)

Also strange how Melbourne City almost immediately after that got a carbon copy of the same logo:

No, not really that strange. I voted for the shield version and was slightly disappointed when it lost, but I was following the way that public opinion was going during the vote and with 24 hours to go I knew I had voted for the losing design. The weight of opinion was about 70-30 in favour of the circular design, it wasn't a neck-and-neck decision that could've gone either way and legitimately could have been tweaked to reach the desired effect. Unless you're claiming that a substantial amount of the accounts on twitter and facebook were set up by the club to spoof public opinion (and I'm talking hundreds at least) then there's no way that the badge vote was rigged.

I think he means that the choice was already made and that the vote was just to make people think they had an input. If that's not what you meant feel free to correct me :D
