Even though you’re good on tickets, they manage Cityzens out of Manchester so somebody there needs to get you set up. Takes a couple of weeks from my experience.

Can someone explain to me how people have 20k points? Isn't there a limit to the social media point accumulation?

I heard you get points foe watching away games. The thing is the code gets displayed on YES network, correct? I dont have subscription to that.Any other medium I can get points if I watch the game. Does the code only gets displayed on YES?

It's only for away games on YES. Away games on national TV have no code and no points. Home games have no points. So it's a small number of games, maybe 12 times a year or so, and not a lot of points.
But, you can still get them if you want by hanging out here when the game is on. Somebody usually posts the code in the Shoutbox. If they don't, or if you miss when it happens, just ask. Code usually expires either mid-game or most commonly when the game ends. Occasionally they extend it when they have technical issues.

YES.

This applies only to away games that are broadcast on YES, so if it is a national TV broadcast it doesn’t count. The code is announced at a random time in the game, and you have a relatively short window to enter it - just a little after the game ends.

Ah cool. What is shoutbox?

they probably bought like 6 seats, clean up the team store and tweet all day long
The points are seat specific, sadly. Super annoying and somewhat inefficient if you ask me. If all of my tix are in my name, it would be more logical to let me manage the points in a unified manner and allocate them to a seat should I want to for some odd purpose.

But I think the total points in the standings table is by account holder. Kind of silly on all end, really.

We discussed this before, I think. This is a compromise decision by the club. People with more seats deserve more rewards, and they get more points. So far so good. The issue is if you let people combine points, people with 1-2 seats could almost never win a bidding contest. Now that's not necessarily unfair, either. I think this is an issue where either choice is arguably justified.
I do think there should be one exception that would definitely allow people to combine points in the specific circumstance where they drop seat(s). As it is, they just lose any unused points and that seems wrong. I think they should be split among their remaining seats.

I'm of mixed thoughts here -- I understand that combining points into a single account may not be "fair" to some people, but I also think it is more than reasonable to reward your better customers more than others. I also have 6 seats, so that is somewhat self-serving.
