Cityzens Portal

At the risk of being even more semantic than usual, I'd say I wasnt defending their behavior as much as saying that that behavior has been transparent and consistent with most other consumer entities.

None of us shmoes that bought season tickets this year can be surprised that they have discounted tickets when they've done that pretty regularly in the past and attendance has been steadily declining.

The StubHub deal is the real bad faith effort -- never believe anyone thatthat restr your choices and tells you it's for your benefit.

Also, the Friday night news dump of the new netting.

And the screwing us out of City Points if we use the ticket swap program.

And I guess implying that there would only be 400 Villa pins when there were likely in the thousands.

And the used car salesman practice of writing your season tickets as a monthly payment to obscure the per game price as much as possible. Never be a payment buyer!

And the lack of a stadium.

Boy is there going to be a reckoning this off-season in the ticket office...
At the risk of sounding even more bitchy than normal, I was just looking for a good launching pad to go off about how annoyed I still am and this one seemed good because it was near the top of my “new posts” list at the time.

The Citizens prizes have gotten noticeably worse the last year or two. The autographed photos were terrific, but stopped after 2016. The opportunity to have your kid escort the players comes up very rarely and is a lot harder to get. It’s just not as good.

I agree the 2016 offerings were the best they have really gone down hill since.

They are consolation prizes (for getting screwed on tix prices) that nobody wants. It’s a joke. Offering cityzens points as a perk for STH is a hollow, sad, lazy attempt to say they are doing something “special” for the STHs.

I'm hoarding all of my points for a signed Captain's armband. They offered that the first season and I regretted not cashing out ever since :(

I have my tickets priced to receive face value back at my founders rates. Stub Hub keeps telling me I'm priced too high. By tomorrow it will be too late to go through the 15 step process of completing a transaction. Fuck these points, fuck this organization. I don't even bother to email anymore, last season in these seats. They will learn next season.

Pretty cool. Almost like watching an extra match. Also see how all the bench players do in live competition. Shame I really don’t want to shlep to Orangeburg from Long Island on a workday morning with rush hour traffic.

Has anyone done the Pen Passes? If you did, how is it? Can players after warmups sign any memorabilia?

Save the points and just hang out before warmups between third base and the left field foul pole. Your probably closer to the players over there.

I got a blanket and playing cards with my points today. Do I have to pick them up 9r do they mail them?

It’s nice. There’s Velcro on the brown part with the logo so it can be held together. It was a gift at last season’s perfect attendance reception. Speaking of that- did they have one this year? I missed a couple of matches so I wouldn’t have been invited anyway, but I didn’t hear anyone say anything about it.

Didn’t have one this year. Was disappointing

Add Cityzens to the long list of things the Club just isn't doing as well. Prizes are worse, portal doesn't work, and now nobody responds or pays attention when issues come up.

My points will soon be useless since I didn’t renew, but I’m still not doing “mystery prizes” Why bid for something I might not want when I could be keeping it from someone that does want it. It’s hard to be bad at giving away free stuff, but...

I have yet to use a single point. Given the availability of free market tickets, you would think that they would make sure that one of the few "advantages" of being a STH was worthwhile. This is such low hanging fruit which they must have Maxi jumping for.

The points should be “worth” more with regard to exchanging them, and it’d be great if there was a dedicated Swag area not confined by 10items before running empty, and it didn’t take 200k points to earn a 2016 T-shirt. Have it open to the full gambit of inventory so stuffs desirable. Make the swag also “affordable” because in the end, it’s marketing to have swag worn.

I haven't gotten Twitter points since June.

And 0 points for NYCFC home games this season.

And only 2 of 11 away games this season.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

I'll email my rep and ask to credit my own calculation of the points at the end of the year.
