I have to believe that even Garber is starting to see the light that the time has just about arrived for the salary cap to be "redesigned". The league is starting to reach the critical mass to make it feasible.Let the salary cap discussions start. Owners like Kraft keep on holding the league back and arming us with knives at a gunfight.
You think garber makes the decision about the salary cap?I have to believe that even Garber is starting to see the light that the time has just about arrived for the salary cap to be "redesigned". The league is starting to reach the critical mass to make it feasible.
Garber is the spokesperson for the owners. I'm pretty sure he personally feels that the cap should be higher but he works for the owners. His job is to stand in front of the owners catching shit from everyone while they're hiding in the back. A miraculous run with multiple upsets can only get you so far.I have to believe that even Garber is starting to see the light that the time has just about arrived for the salary cap to be "redesigned". The league is starting to reach the critical mass to make it feasible.
Guess I could have worded that better. LOL.You think garber makes the decision about the salary cap?
I don't think this result will effect the salary cap one- single- bit.I have to believe that even Garber is starting to see the light that the time has just about arrived for the salary cap to be "redesigned". The league is starting to reach the critical mass to make it feasible.
Is that a positive or negative?what a shit loss
at least the Impact fans will wake up living in Canada
It could be one of those either or scenarios. Is that a positive or negative?

correctIt could be one of those either or scenarios.
However, I believe that he is implying that Mexico is a piece of shit... I could be mistaken here, but the context in which he made the statement seems to point towards my assumption.

The league will, the fans and journalists won't.As Will many of the America fans in attendance.
Seems like Montreal just could not finish and put one more goal away. In the second half they were just gassed and this brings the question of depth, yes salary cap can be increased but I feel like the better MLS teams would fare better if you know...they actually tried. What's stopping them from trying? The galaxies or red bulls or sounders? If not then develop and heavily invest in your academies, is anyone doing that? Maybe it seems like single entity tends to block all this.
Serious question: if somehow some way nycfc made a run to finals of a CCL like Montreal will the league go all out in terms of support and social media like they did with the impact? I ask since I know the rest of fans and many MLS "journalists" hate everything about us.
