I don't think we will see refunds or credits until and unless they are forced to close down attendance. I don't think it's reasonable to expect it either.

I don't think it is politics when discussing how the president is contradicting and overruling the CDC potentially putting people's health at risk. Similar to what happened with the hurricane fiasco.

Trump said he doesn’t want to take passengers off the cruise ship because he doesn’t want the numbers to go up. That’s leaving citizens to incubate in a Petri dish.
Trump is disregarding the experts’ advice to tell the elderly not to fly. That’s going to put the most vulnerable in the worst position.

facts is, yeah sure it's pretty dangerous but the typical fear mongering by the news outlets is laughable. people acting like its the end of the world buying their 100 count toilet paper packages at costco and hand sanitizer by the gallon. I'll be slightly worried when people start dropping dead at an alarming rate in this country. right now a few hundred people 70+ doesn't have me worried at all lol maybe I'm just an asshole but idc.

How has he botched it???? Every way possible. He removed the pathogen team two years ago so there were no experts on staff at the CDC. The admin waited to roll out test kits and then the kits were faulty. All talking points from experts have to first be vetted by the WH. He put Pence in charge - the same guy who had an HIV epidemic spike under his watch. The admins talking points are constantly not aligned between agencies. He’s purposely get numbers low with a lack of testing - if you don’t confirm actual infections, there’s nothing to report. He’s keeping passengers on the cruise ship against the recommendation of the top scientist.

People aren’t being safe simply for their own sake, it’s to help corral the spread so the most vulnerable aren’t exposed.
Your view of the few hundred people 70+ is exactly the view I’d expect from the entitled Gen Z demographic. Not everything is always about you - that’s what being part of a society is all about.
Yes. He hires/fires the people in this positions, and he’s stripped the various departments down by removing the career experts and replacing them with yes-men loyal to him. So the buck stops with him.
You can go on but it will be pointless. People choose to live in a distorted view of reality. The handling of this was not handled at all and now handled 100% politicaly. If he wasn’t such a narcissist with a petty and juvenile mind, the program created to deal with this exact kind of situation wouldn’t have been dismantled.
There is nothing you can say that will ever get some people to accept the clear and obvious.
