Dallas - Postmatch

I only saw the second half - and even then was distracted enough to miss both subs - but the team looked a mess. No possession, organization, or chances. Take the point and move on.

Playoffstatus.com is already updated and has us as 78% 1st, 15% 2nd and 7% 3rd. So basically 1st or 2nd barring a complete collapse.

Legs are gonna be trashed after that match and a long flight back. Better have cryo tanks on the plane and start the PT/recovery massage.

Dome is absolutely fuming.

He looked ready to knock crooks out in the post game.

He's not happy about the draw. We should have had 3 points.

In normal conditions we get another goal and don't fade so quickly. It's impossible to travel there and play your best. All things considered, Dallas deserved a goal and it was our captain that gave it to them. A point is fair there. Beat ATL and We'll be golden.

The Audi Index [assume usual disclaimers] says the top player for both teams was Tinnerholm, who played just 23 minutes. The best player for Dallas was Pomykal, who subbed on for Servania and played 62. The play of the game, apparently, was the collision between Tinnerholm and Servania that knocked Tinnerholm out of the game and brought Pomykal in.

This game reminded me of South American qualifiers played in La Paz (12,000 feet) where the visiting team dominates the first 30 minutes because of superior ball skills, and then runs out of lungs and legs and get pummeled against the ropes by the Bolivians for the next 60. It really was two matches, and the first 30 where sublime by NYCFC.

This.

The manner in which we gave up the tying goal is infuriating and shouldn't happen. That said, Dallas was bossing the whole second half I felt probably should have come away with 3 points. I'll take the draw from this one.

Now you know why Dallas has only lost one game at home all year. Who is conditioned to play in swamp ass heat
You can't even watch the game. No one sits on the side of the field facing the tv camera because the seats are too hot. Everyone was packed behind the benches.

Besides Maxi, he may be our most important player due to the lack of depth at RB. Nobody else on our team provides what he can going forward on the right flank. And with all the cross-field switches we do to the right side, losing Tinny really hurt.

Losing him easily changed the game. Rocha and Miller are just horrible and it was almost immediately after we lost Tinny we lost 90% of our offensive presence. Mitri, Maxi, and Taty barely saw the ball from that point forward. I'm honestly surprised Dallas didn't go down our left side in attack more often. I guess there offensive buildup goes solely through Barrios, as it seemed he was constantly being fed the ball even when he had minimal to no space to do anything with it.

Shout out to Miller for managing to meg himself while trying to tackle Barrios and somehow not giving up a PK.

Hoping Tinny's okay and will be back soon. Solid head to head contact there unfortunately. With the injury though and Dome hopefully seeing that Miller is inept in defense for us, I'm hoping this is the chance Scally gets for some minutes. Won't happen, but a Forumite can dream.

trash game but all im concerned with is the injury of tinnerholm and parks. also seems like maxi played more than the alloted 60 mins. lets hope he doesnt break down next two games.
