Oh, have they? hmm I thought they were good to their fans... And they did try their best to make good moves last year
You’re talking about the team that hires/fires coaches on a whim and blows up theirs cap space with crazy transfers and contracts? Their owner is reckless with how he manages the team.

They haven't been stingy like Minnesota or Cincinnati, and they were considered ambitious when they joined in 2015. I think Kaká's salary was the highest in MLS at the time. But their track record is pitiful, especially considering that in 2015 and 2016 you still had many teams in the Eastern Conference spending as little as possible. They have been blessed with high attendance despite having been unable to even make the playoffs. Their fans are loyal to a fault. And this year is the first one you could say most teams are really spending serious money.

Yeah, if memory serves me, NYCFC was going to take on all kinds of costs from scouting to accounting to whatever the Fck MCFC could offload as operational costs. That way they would show more of a cash surplus that could be allocated towards players.

I wonder if this is part of why so many NYCFC operations were HQ'd in Manchester (e.g. marketing) to help blur the lines for classification purposes.

Ding ding ding..... we have a winner!

This matches the worst 16-consecutive games in NYCFC team history with 16 points and is the worst 16 games under a single coach. Only other time there were 16 games this bad was final 8 of Kreis and first 8 of Vieira.

ETA Correction. Realized if you take last 9 of Kreis and worst 7 of Vieira that's just 15 points in 16 games, so this not quite tied for worst, but still worst by a single coach, including worse than any 16 games under Kreis and our 2015 roster. That includes the first 20 games of 2015 when the team had a DP appear in games 17 times of a possible 60. But not the worst 16 games ever.

1pt/match average is a losing record and constitutes for cause. He’s been given more than enough time to instill *his* tactics. Nothing he’s done shows that the team is poised to play dominant soccer.... how much rope does he have to be given before it’s evident he’s hanging the team???

Under Dome, we've won 9 games in 25 matches since he's been with us last year. Meaning the rest have been losses or draws. I don't understand how this okay.

It's not okay. This is a results business. Playing well isn't good enough, you need results.

I don't think he gets fired this season, but he has not been good enough.
