So I feel like there are enough big name teams in this that at least a few other people might care? Both halves of The Old firm, Marseille, Chelsea , Arsenal , Milan...

Rangers managed to hold on for a 1-1 this afternoon 2-1 Aggregate win against UFA of Russia despite playing the final 26 minutes down TWO MEN! Little reminiscent of a recent derby..

That sounds awesome and I hope your fiancé loves soccer too! That’s a lot of game time on a honeymoon

Lol not very happy. But going with dad, and cousins who are soccer fans. And we have other family members coming from rest of europe and South America. This all taking place before my bday and wedding on the 22nd..except for the derbi which is after wedding... but semi honeymoon take places after that

So Villarreal is hosting Rangers.
.... There is so much soccer in my vicinity, my cousins are hitting all games... Misses told me dont even think about it.... I have to help with wedding stuff...i will have to choose either champions or europa... I am villarreal follower... But watching Mr. Champion League Ronaldo would be great.....

"Mare de Déu!"(Valencian) Mother of God!

I got a scarf, pair of shoes, and ticket to Villarreal vs. Rangers for €45 ($52)

Wow! Jeez! Their season ticket cost a mere €200 Euros and it includes Copa del Rey, Champions League/Europa League, and regular season!!! AND SEATS IN THE MIDDLE SECTION BEHIND PLAYERS

Felt so cheated for how much I pay for my season tickets where the playoffs are not even included, they get to see messi and great spanish football for less.

And take this - i asked about food options.... Bocadillos with Jamon Serrano (jamon serrano sandwich) with a beer for €4.50 Euros! And paella for €2 euros (probably same or greater portion for what i would get around Union Square for $30 dollars)

Rangers supporters were loudest in stadium. Draw was like a victory for them.

Considering where Rangers have been the last several years a draw away against a reasonably big La Liga side is a very good result indeed. I know you were rooting the other way. Hope you had a good time. I've been to 3 Europa league matches I know people don't rate it as a comp but it seems fine to me.

Yea had a good time. It was fun, seem fine to me as well. There were more Rangers fan outside, as some were not allowed in, and I saw some come in with yellow shirts, and once in their seats remove them to show their Rangers shirt.

So looking more likely to get an all EPL Europa final than Champions league at this point. Arsenal with a 3-1 home win over Valencia and Chelsea drew 1-1 away to Frankfurt.

Interesting. With the automatic spot going to the Europa League winner, we could end up with 5 EPL teams in the Champions League next season. Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, winner of Europa League (Chelsea/Arsenal), and the highest finisher aside from those four.

Plus, that means 2 of the 3 EPL spots for the Europa League will come from outside the Big Six. It will be the 6th and 7th place teams, and then either Watford (if they win the FA Cup) or the 8th place team (if Man City wins the FA Cup).

That last spot/last 2 spots is still wide open. pretty crazy. Contenders for the last spot/2 spots are Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U

If either Chelsea or Arsenal win the EL and finish in the top 4, England won't get a 5th team. Ligue Un 4th place team gets that spot as France is the highest qualifying country that only gets 3 spots.

Only way for England to get 5 is for the EL winner to finish outside the normal CL qualifying spot.

The seats are further from the pitch than the third base side of Yankee Stadium. This looks awful.
