Expansion Rumors Megathread

Olympique Saint Louis would have been solid.

But whatever. Another trash ass generic name. This is just silly now.

And then they are gonna push on some silly ass nicknames for fans to use instead of letting fans come up with it on their own.

This is so plastic, at the risk of sounding like a pretentious pro rel for USA hack.

olympique is no better than the FC's SC's or Real's. its not used much but if the point is to be more organic thats not it.

St. Louis archers as its been mentioned would of been that organic name people want.

Its not great, but its not City, FC, SC, or City FC/SC.

Plus St. Louis has French heritage and has hosted an Olympic.

really? its not really promoted like new orleans or any where in Louisiana. as for the olympics, i dont know how many people will care or even know of an event that happened over 100 years ago.

people do know the arch, so thats why i though archers made more sense.

Nashville with football, hockey, soccer and now potentially baseball. The market is getting crowded.

Think Nashville right now is too small for all that.

oof thats rough, they missed a payment and now with this. I think its close to being over.

Edit: if their expandion bid is gone then who would replace it? Vegas? Phoenix?

I feel like Vegas would be a great addition. Really underrated sports town. Phoenix is a pass for me -- that area just doesn't get behind its teams in other sports.
