FIFA World Cup 2018 - Group D (Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria)

Strongest group of four teams, by far in my opinion. Anyone of these teams can go on, but I'm feeling a revamped Argentina (new coach and Messi is Messi) tops it, followed by Croatia. Iceland impresses and excites, but falls just short. Nigeria shows potential but lack of experience lets them down.

Croatia supporter here. Very excited about this group and our chances. Felt we were completely cheated by horrible refereeing in Brazil. Ready for Russia and feel we can take second in the group and challenge for first.

Lies, I saw it in the FIFA World Cup 2018 thread first.
The Nigeria kit that has everyone buzzing was designed by Matthew Wolff, who designed the NYCFC and LAFC badges.
I am surprised that the forum is quiet with the WC 2018
must be the time difference.
I am exhausted trying to keep up with all the games late and early hours, I have no energy to spare. I am falling asleep as I write this post ! Lol

Saunders apparently had his one-time switch to Argentina approved
Guess I put too much weight on a broken Argentina. Croatia doesn't surprise me, if they keep this up they will go far. Only thing in their way is themselves. Modric went ham and Croatia's midfield overran anything Argentina put at them.
I picked Argentina to win the group and Nigeria to finish second.
Never pick based on animals and best kits.

Argentina's situation isn't as dire as it may seem, although they didn't do themselves any favors by imploding and letting in those last two goals.
Argentina will most likely have to beat Nigeria, of course.* If they do that, Argentina will almost certainly finish above Nigeria, meaning it comes down to what Iceland does in its other two games. If Iceland get

I use the act of "going ham" for playing incredibly well and taking over a game. Perisic and Modric both went ham, but I give more hammening to Modric for the goal.
