Is it true that there have been fights at Hofstra stadium between NYCFC and Cosmos fans ? Can somebody to explain me what exactly has made Bill in that circumstance ?

Yeah I heard some of our guys got jumped and got their stuff stolen. Can't confirm this though

I can confirm it.
Some fucker hit me from behind grabbed a horn ripped it off and ran.
I chased him into the Cosmos Supporters section someone took a swing at me and I was kicked out by Security
Then someone stole the rest of the hat.

I know of someone whose shoe was taken, eyeglasses, scarves, water bottles thrown from the stands as we were leaving, and rocks in the parking.

You know real pussy stuff hiding in the groups of fans behind the laughable stadium security.

That's fucked up. And as I said elsewhere I blame the team as much as the fans. For all of our complaints about YS security I'd rather deal with our issues than with invisible security that lets hoodlums get violent.

Also one guy with a broken finger requiring surgery and another with bleeding in his eye after being poked in it.

I was jumped by 3-4 Cosmos supporters as soon as I got off the shuttle at the train station. Scarf was stolen and they didn't take any other valuables. I think they were just looking to steal colors. Have a scratch on my face and significant sized bruise/cut on my arm, and a few smaller bruises elsewhere.

This was definitely my fault for traveling to the train station after the game by myself and having too much to drink. That potent beer with no dinner snuck up on me. I apologize for my state at the game, thank you HoO members for taking care of me.

I'm glad those POS borough boys decided to be hypocrites and support the Cosmos. Don't want this team to be affiliated with any group like that.

Was at the porta johns near the cosmos supporters section and saw AndreT_NY AndreT_NY get harassed by a young cosmos fan for walking by in his jingle hat. Would have been me if you didn't walk by honestly. Kid got in my face after i repeatedly said I'm just hear to watch a soccer game. Never said a word other then that. They're forever second tier so they need to make themselves relevant. Pathetic really.

I don't endorse firms or football related violence at all or claim to be an expert but don't most Euro firms or casuals claim to only target each other? Like Benny siegal's famous "We only kill each other" line about the Mafia?

Perhaps but the myth of the mafia only hurting their own, is just that, a myth.

I'm well aware and it's likely the same with hooligans/casuals. I don't claim to be an expert and don't go out of my way to read hoolie lit but on occasion I come across an article about casuals or firms in a magazine or online and they generally claim to not target normal fans.
