Last round of voting. I was torn about knocking out 233/4, but I also felt like it would be kind of a dick move if I didn't keep my word of cutting it to only top 2 from last round. The positive is, if you feel really strongly about 234, then you know the BXFSC will be there. So I guess it's a win-win in that regard. No hard feelings if someone decides to do that. Anyone going another route is still more than welcome to be an NYCFC Social member, be on our email list and hang out. As Blutarski would say, it don't cost nothin'.

If you haven't done so, you can be added to email list by emailing nycfcsocial at gmail.

Just want to include this here for easy reference! Also provide a link to virtual venue. http://nycfc.io-media.com/

Unfortunately I think i'm going to skip both sections as I have a couple of other spots I am more interested in. If I miss out on my first choices, I may join you guys in 215.

I appreciate the input, but you do get that it's a little odd for you to vote and then say, goodbye, right?

I hope I'm wrong, but I think you're going to be really disappointed if you get on the lower level man. Just saying it for your own benefit. You'll be stuck with those forever.

I'm a fan of 215, but I'm still torn between it and 014a/b. I know the vantage point issues involved, but there is something really cool about being that close to the field in any sport. 215 clearly offers better views of the action. but NYCFC Dan and Buckley's takes on 014's have helped keep it in consideration. 103/104 was an early favorite as well as 136 and I have eliminated them.

and now my own personal final two is 215 & 014a/b

I personally don't care for it because you can't see what's going on at all on the other end. It's awesome for half the game. Then it's the worst seat in the house for the other half. And I don't mean the actual halves. Just when the ball is on the other end.

I do see the appeal though. And that is cool. It's why I paid for front row seats for USvTurkey in NJ. It was awesome, once. I definitely left with a new opinion that it wouldn't be a seat I'd want forever.

Yeah, its very close call. something I might not be able to finally decide until I am on the phone making the seat selection as I go back and forth almost hourly. lol

215 has really jumped up, as it wasn't even one of the spots I had thought about. until I heard about all the pluses of that section and seen comparable pics from 213

I have season football tickets in club level for Ole Miss, and I got them in basically the exact location of 213. It's like watching the tactical cam on ESPN3. I also like how in the instance of YS, the seat angles play to our advantage in either 215 or 205. Because of the angle they have and the pitch config, both spots are very comfortable.

I really hope we can put together a decent crew to sit together, wherever it is. It will make the matches more fun, and I think really be a launching point for growing something that adds a lot to the supporter environment. It would be cool if we could get enough folks together to seed a section that eventually could grow into it's own "stand" with a particular character, like some of the sections at various old and storied England grounds.

All of these opportunities are what makes being a charter supporter so great. I really wish we started play tomorrow. We have 6 guys. Let's line them up tomorrow and take some points!

I just want to throw a couple of things out there. Firstly, I agree about the 014a/b sections. Being close is cool but, as others have said, you're not going to be able to see what's going on at all when the game is being played on the other side of the pitch.

As for the final rundown we have here, I hope many of you seriously consider 205 as I think it really is the best seat in the house. It's elevated enough so you can see the width of the pitch but close enough where you're up against the action. It really gives a great tv angle feel as well, you'll be able to see everything perfectly. Even more so when things are happening on the side it's closest too. Plus, the two benches will be right below you.

I feel that 215 is a little far for my personal tastes.

It's (215) really isn't that bad. I promise. And you can be first to the pisser.

Frankly, I like 205 because it's such good value for money. It really might be the absolute best views available. Having the opportunity to lock up right of first refusal on those for forever could be a pretty damn good investment in and of itself.

I'm sure it's not all that bad. I have tickets to the Yankees in 210 and it's not that far away so I see the appeal. However, in similar seating arrangements in soccer stadiums, a section like 205 would probably be considered one of the best seats in the house. The value for money is definitely there.

Ok since I decided to look at virtual venue I once again have changed my whole opinion lol. I think you guys should consider switching 215 to 214. It's not far from 215 so it has all the advantages and i think from virtual venue has the same view. The main advantage is that it does not have the wheelchair area seating which allows for more front row seats.

When is the voting closed?
Crap. I didn't set it. I figure we'll leave it up at least a couple of week days since the board is more active then. If 215 wins, I'm all for switching it to 214 if there's not a lot of opposition.

I think Tiger Jones Tiger Jones is thinking the same way I am about 205. Getting locked into that section could be a massive boon when we build a stadium. I mean I could see people being willing to offer a substantial amount of money to have access to those seats.

I could be wrong but I believe the seat selection process likely starts anew when we have a permanent stadium. The club will refer to the same order of seniority you currently hold. This would mean the seating you select now would not carryover.

Alright, maybe we don't get it locked up per se. But you get priority access for new stadium and ability to renew next year. It would be weird for them to give us the boot in a new stadium. It would not be the sort of fan relations I'd expect given CFG's track record.

Hey Tiger Jones Tiger Jones , not sure if you ever saw this, but here was my view from 213, row 2

https://twitter.com/midas_mulligan/status/494612096231813120

That's really not bad at all. I think most seats on that side of the field on the 200 level give you a great view and great value.

Also, I agree with the reseating process. I'm guessing once they move to a SSS they will try to get you as close to what you had as possible (if you want it) but will largely be based on existing seniority. Which is fine with me because our seniority is only going to get better as each year passes and I did a deposit on day one.
