Just received an e-mail with this new survey:

Today we want your ideas for a unique ‘off the pitch’ goal celebration for New York City FC. In New England they fire muskets in celebration, and in Portland they chainsaw a log. What celebration befits our great city of New York?

And the Forums get a shout-out on the survey page!

We originally saw you talking about this on NYCFC forums, so now please let us know your suggestions for celebrating our home goals by adding a comment below. You can also build on other people's suggestions by responding to their comments.

This is what I said...

They need to improve the organization and format of that discussion. There are hundreds of separate entries already, most of which just repeat what someone already suggested above.

I have to say the first name, LAST NAME cal and response is one of my least favorites.

Unless the call is Fat, FRANK. Actually, let's do it. They say Frank. WE SAY FAT.

Frank. FAT. Frank. FAT.

And let Claidi-0-fer-Ghana give a press quote then about how we'll forget.

I said a subway horn
I hope they do something different, the subway system and NYC is so cliche. Stadium series hockey at YS the logo is dominated by subway lines, NBA all star weekend logo dominated by subway lines. Subway this, subway that. There's more to the greatest city in the world than a transportation system.

I agree, lets see some love for the bus system. That is good too.
