If all are available I'd like to see the lineup below. I could be wrong, but I don't believe we have ever seen this lineup due to injuries and international call ups which I would argue would be our club at full strength. Will be interesting to see how this works out on Sunday and through the playoffs as we could potentially be at full strength while other clubs are on the decline.

I also wonder if any other club has yet fielded their #1 selection either. Makes analyzing future matches more difficult as we don't have historical precedence.

Having this starting lineup and Mendoza and Khiry on the bench would be awesome. In the games where we choked this year, we had issues getting the ball out of our half. One or two forward passes and it gets turned over. I'd like to see us dominate and control possession, but in the event we get stuffed like last game against DC or most of the RB games, drop Pirlo way deep next to Iraola. Put on the two fastest wingers from the bench and go route 1 with the man who is supposed to be the best hail mary passer in the league. TMac and Jack are wasting space when we can't get the ball to them. Having two guys who can turn on the jets and chase a long ball could help dig us out of a hole.

Yes on TMac getting pulled but the other is a FB and go 3-3-4 by leaving Harrison on. With 4 forwards, and going Route1, their entire back line is man marking with no cover against 3 speedsters and Villa, and that would hopefully break the press.

Tomorrow will be the first time I use E-tickets through the Ticketmaster app. Probably a dumb question but for my girlfriend and I does she have to have her ticket on her phone or can I just show the two tickets on my phone and they will let us both in? I tried looking it up on NYCFC.com and the only thing I read is they aren't accepting printed pdfs

On a lesser important note, I like collecting ticket stubs as souvenirs. Can I go to the box office before the game and get a paper Yankee stadium ticket?

Thanks in advance!

On the paper ticket I'm going to say no. I don't believe they do that.
For the phone thing you can have them all on 1 phone. I do that at just about every sporting event I go to.

Some thoughts on this weekend's match.

I can see Meram punishing us on transitions with this ridiculous RB / CDM swapping scheme we've been running in the past few games. It was even worse seeing us try this against DC with Hernandez at RB. Any incremental improvement we see in ball retention at the back is wiped out by the frailties introduced in defensive transition, and Meram has been a bogey player for us.

It seems like Meram has been getting more time centrally too, though that may have just been when Higuan was out. He's a good player. I fully expect that Chanot starts tomorrow as we try to get him match fit for the playoffs. Hopefully that alleviates the need to cover for Mena's limitations on the ball.

Let's hope they sit all the injured players for a match that is meaningless to them. Moreover, a loss now improves their draft spot. I don't think any professional team would tank, but they don't have to play their best if they are hurt and let it play out...

On another note, I have very high expectations for the Yankee Stadium grounds crew for the field tomorrow. There hasn't been baseball played there in more than 2.5 weeks so the field should be pristine and cut for soccer.
