One question regarding the lineup is whether Sands is viewed more as a CB for this game or a CM. I would love to see him start (either position).

If Sands starts at CM, I think it's a good midfield with Maxi and Ring. If he starts at CB, that frees us to move Sweat to LB and move Matarrita up to LW. That means Castellanos could be in the midfield, which sounds better to me than the alternatives.

I don't think any of those happen. My guess is that he will be depth at one or the other.

I'd expect Sands to continue to see time in the midfield as that's where he's been deployed for us and where he played over his recent loan spell. I would hope that when arranging the loan the team would have sent him to a club that agreed to give him time at whatever position they see him filling for us.

I tend to agree, however this begs the question of who would play CB if Sweat or Ibeagha were injured during the game (and assuming Callens is out). Maybe Ring moves back? Maybe we just forfeit?

Or you could move Sands back and switch to what you had up above
