SAS is out on loan, so he's not available.

If Callens can't play, NYCFC only has 15 field players available for this game.

Oh shite.

--------Villa
Lewis<---->Taty
--------Maxi
---Ring-----Sands
Sweat--------Tinny
---Ibby---Callens
--------SJ

I think we see Amagat again, though, and get busted for it.

I honestly think Lewis will stay on the bench tonight. Amagat will play for sure.

GK: Johnson
LB: Mataritta
CB: Sweat
CB: Ibeagha
RB: Tinnerholm
CM: Ring
CM: Amagat
CM: Moralez
LW: McNamara
RW: Castellanos
ST: Villa

One question regarding the lineup is whether Sands is viewed more as a CB for this game or a CM. I would love to see him start (either position).

If Sands starts at CM, I think it's a good midfield with Maxi and Ring. If he starts at CB, that frees us to move Sweat to LB and move Matarrita up to LW. That means Castellanos could be in the midfield, which sounds better to me than the alternatives.

I don't think any of those happen. My guess is that he will be depth at one or the other.

I have to think that a kid like Sands will err on the side of caution, which would probably allow Alex to play up a little higher. It feels like our gameplan has been to get the ball to Alex or Maxi asap, and having him a little higher upfield could potentially open a lot up for us.
